Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
About Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is a sprawling 1,300-acre, AAA Four Diamond property, home to 355 rooms and 29 new villas. It's a four-season destination with the Mountain Top ski and snowboard facility and the 225-room Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, an indoor-outdoor waterpark. Sandwiched between Milwaukee and Chicago, Grand Geneva invites city slickers to enjoy the laid-back lake life for a while. It started out as the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, part of Hugh Hefner’s empire. That chapter closed in 1981. Eventually, the property rebranded as a luxury golf resort in 1994 with fine dining and conference facilities for corporate clients. The Highlands and The Brute roll over hills and water hazards, creating distinct theaters for challenging and memorable golf. The WELL Spa + Salon, located in a separate fitness building, offers more than 65 treatments and services.Facts

Highlands
The course was in great shape. We did not see anyone until the 17th hole. I would recommend this course to anyone who can hit the ball accurately.
Overall nice place
Had a great day even though I played bad course was beautiful and conditions were ideal. Greens a little tough to read and challenging course. Good job grand geneva!! We will be back
Away Day
We had a challenging and rewarding time playing 18 holes on the Highlands. The weather was quite warm and humid, or we would have enjoyed the day even more.
The setting, surroundings are beautiful. Placed in the midst of the beautiful architecture of nature.
We will definitely be back!
An Eagle & a Birdie
Course was in great shape with very well manicured greens and landscape. Beverage cart was very attentive and had everything you could need out on the course. The greens were challenging giving up very little to miscues or reads. Greens were soft and rolling about an 8 to 9.
Scored an eagle on 6 and birdied 9. I would play this course again
Unbelievable views from elevated tees. Beautiful lakes. Excellent greens
First time in Wisconsin. A gem. I can see why this course gets the ratings it does. Excellent in every way. Golfers....get to the Brute.
Excellent Day and Valur
I will go back in a heart beat. Great course. High tech carts with Gps. Great day had by all. Course is not for beginners however. Perfectly challenging for our group.
Marcomar
By far the nicest golf course in the Lake Geneva Area. The views are breathtaking and the course is meticulous.
My Experience
Over all we had a great time the golf course, will go back again.
5 minutes from home.
I would like to thank Grand Geneva for a wonder round on the Brute course. The course has everything. Giant Greens as big as a house. Bunkers that make any beach jealous. Fair ways R Plush. Disappointed in that my 4 some repaired tons of ball marks on the greens, & put back quite a few fairway divots. Don't people have respect for such a great course. And all the cracked tees on tee boxes. Staff was great. Loved the GPS on the carts. No course should be over $100.00 to play. I found a daily special rate. & thank U for doing that. Im not rich. Every hole is a painting of its self.
Beautiful
Greens a little slow but otherwise in great shape and very challenging.
Could be considered a destination course
The Brute is a beautiful and challenging course, in excellent condition. We got our deal through "Hot Deals" which was unbelievable., but we were stuck behind an outing, (now I understand the price). It took us 5 hrs 15 minutess to play. Outside of the slow pace I would go back to this course in a heart beat!Make sure you use the
Highlands
Great facility. In feel its over priced if you base it solely on the course. Great staff, they will certainly take good care of you.
GPS on carts, can order food from the GPS and they bring it out to you, complimentary towels, tee's, divot replacer, ball marker.
Huge practice facility
Multiple drink carts on the course.
Enjoyed the Brute
Enjoyed the course from the Regular tees. Even with the GPS some of the blind tee shots on the Brute was still tough to figure out. The elevated greens were a challenge on the par 5's for sure. The greens seemed slow to start but picked up speed and could see they keep it fair since the undulating greens would be a killer. Was not a fan of the large bunkers and the soft sand. Got a great deal thru GolfNow otherwise not sure would have paid full green fees. Look forward to going back and playing the Highlands.
Great layout fantastic facility!
Played 18 course was in fantastic condition! HIghly recommended!
Great Track
Had a great day. The course is very nice. It's not crazy long like I though it would be. It's very manageable & has a couple really cool holes. I would play it again. I really enjoyed hole 18 with the amphitheater feel to it. I hit driver, 8 iron into the flag with about 30 people watching. I walked up to the green with a few people approving of the nice shot . Very cool!
Grand Geneva Highlands Review
The was in excellent condition. The only bad thing was there was some holes where there were a lot of mosquitoes.
great value
I thought it was a nice course and a great value.
very friendly people at the course. Very nice experiance.
ONE OF THE BEST
AN ENJOYABLE ROUND IN EVERY ASPECT. WITH MOST CLUBS WHERE THE PRICES GET TO BE IN THE HIGHER NUMBERS THE STAFF BECOMES MORE PRUDISH. IT WAS COMPLETELY THE OPPOSITE AT THE BRUTE. THEY WANTED YOU THERE AND SHOWED IT AT EVERY CHANCE THEY COULD. IF GIVEN THE CHANCE MAKE A DAY OF GOLF AT THE BRUTE YOU WILL GO HOME SMILING.
Wonderful Experience
This is the first time I played the Brute. A truly wonderful afternoon golfing. Was Paired with a gentleman who was a delight to play with, Staff was instrumental in pairing us as we were both singles. Even as a twosome with another twosome ahead of us we played in under 4 hours. Excellent conditions, greens perfect and overall impression was awesome. I would recommend this course to anyone. Thanks GolfNow for such a good service.
Excellent and Gorgeous Course! Easier than most anticipate.
The 9th hole is one of my favorites. The view from the tee box is amazing! Yes I will definitely be going back to play this course again. Very friendly beverage cart personnel. The whole experience was most enjoyable!
