Grain Mustard

Fantastic homemade mustard with a twist

Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup Yellow Mustard Seed
  • ¼ Cup Brown Mustard Seed
  • 1 Cup Beer (Belgian)
  • 1 ½ Cup Malt Vinegar ½ Cup Minced Onion
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Allspice
  • ¼ Teaspoon Nutmeg

Instructions:

Combine Malt Vinegar, Minced Onion, Brown Sugar, Salt, and Minced Garlic in a sauce pan and reduce by ½. Combine rest of ingredients, cover and store at room temperature for 3 days. Blend ingredients and refrigerate for 3 weeks before use.
