Located in West Columbia, Charwood Country Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf. The holes are divided into three nines: the Red, White, and Blue, which are played in different 18-hole combinations. The White/Blue course starts with the original nine that the club opened with in 1968. The White nine is the shortest of the three at 2,843 yards but it's not to be underestimated since it's actually quite difficult. Accuracy is essential on both the front nine and the formidable back nine, which is considered the toughest of the three. The course combinations at Charwood C.C. will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. They offer a fair test that is forgiving enough to accommodate beginners, and any skill level can appreciate the affordable rates, it's one of the best values in the area.
