About
The Country Club, founded in 1899, is a gem nestled on the southeast side of Salt Lake City in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, just 10 minutes away from downtown.
The historic golf course features large mature trees, 80-plus sand bunkers, multiple streams and two lakes with 360 degrees of majestic mountain views. In respecting the course's heritage, The Country Club hired nationally recognized golf course architect John Harbottle in 2006 to restore the course back to the original design and preserve its unique features.
The Country Club course measures 7,209 yards from the back tees. It carries a rating of 74.7 and a slope of 140.

GrASS
This golf course is probably one of the worst-maintained courses I’ve ever played west of the Mississippi. My friend Pauly brought me here, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible.
The pro shop is awful, the management is awful, and the overall atmosphere is uncomfortable.
I’m good—I’ll never be coming back here again. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Don’t waste your money on a membership.
Best course in Utah
If you can get on this course DO IT! Overall the best course I've played in Utah. This place is a gem. Great variety of holes. Back nine is amazing. Greens are perfect, fairway and rough are spectacular and you use every club in your bag. A must play.
