Pine Hills Golf Course is a championship course that was carefully carved from the beautiful North Woods located 30 minutes northwest of Shawano. The abundance of mature trees is the layout's defining characteristic. They shape the doglegs and line the fairways, making accuracy a necessity. There is also a surprising amount of elevation changes throughout that make the course even more challenging. The occasional water hazard comes into play but they do not pose a serious threat. Good course management is key but overall it is a playable round no matter what your skill level though it doesn't hurt to warm up on the club's driving range or putting green. Pine Hills G.C. location nestled within the forest may explain why it is still one of the best-kept secrets in central Wisconsin.

Great Course
This was our third or fourth time playing the course and it has been fantastic every time. Today the nats were absolutely horrible, but we’ve never had those issues prior. It was nothing to do with the course itself as that played awesome. I highly recommend it.
Hidden gem.
This course is a hidden gem in the north woods . Lucky enough to have a cottage 2 minutes away.
Very unique and picturesque layout. The first 4 holes get you warmed up before you hit the true test in the woods. The fairways are lined with trees. This requires some pretty solid drives as you venture around the woods. Overall I love playing here. Part of the reason we bought our cottage on Big lake.
Pine Hill First Timer
Finally got to Pine Hills.
Course was in very good shape. All fairways seemed surrounded beautiful trees. Made you have to be careful on tee shots!
Kinda think that there should have been a beverage cart, and the food in the clubhouse was very limited.
Fun course with a very challenging back 9
Just started playing here this year. The front is fun and very approachable. The back gets tricky.
Greens are in excellent condition. Fast so really good to be below the hole with your approach.
I’ve got to go again and figure out how to best play that back 9!
golf was great, We have been here many times but this time the gnats were out on every hole. Not just me either, all 4 of us were getting bit badly. My ankles and. neck are still full of bites It just took a lot of the fun out of it,
A buggy Round
The 4of us had a lot of fun golfing 18, the weather was very warn and humid. The thing that was very upsetting was the bugs, I believe they were gnats. They were very thick and were everywhere. You would go to hit a ball and there were about 30 of them around your face and head. This really took a lot of the fun out of the day We have played here many times in the past and this is the !st time this has happened. We can deal with a few bugs but this was unbelieveably bad. We did finish the round but it was the only negative thing I can say about the course. We did end up going back to the casino for their seafood buffet which included all you could eat crablegs which were very good.
