About
Nestled in the Laurel Highlands of southwest Pennsylvania Nemacolin Woodlands Resort sprawls across over 2,000 wooded acres. The resort offers 36 holes of championship golf, Mystic Rock and the Links. Pete Dye added the Mystic Rock Course 25 years after the original Links opened in 1970. Both golf courses offer a strikingly different character as well as unique challenges. Dye incorporated some of his most well known elements including his massive, Sahara-like bunkers and rolling greens. Mature trees line the fairways, requiring further accuracy. The layout stretches to a lengthy 7,526 yards. It has plenty of long holes and presents a formidable challenge but its playability has earned it a ranking in the top 100 public courses in the country. Nemacolin Woodlands' Links Course is a bit less difficult but it also has its own challenges in store.
