Locust Hills Golf Course

Ownership of this establishment is pitiful. To start a tournament with no notice, and still try to milk as much money as possible from groups trying to complete a morning tee time, is a horrible business practice. The icing on the cake of this horrible business practice is scolding a young clubhouse employee in front of customers then saying to the customers “I’m the owner, I apologize for this” as if it means something. Then, going in plain sight and putting your feet on a desk and messing with your phone while the young employee you just scolded is left to deal with disgruntled customers due to your lack of common business sense. Absolute poor ownership and the course conditions and staff management show this. Sell the course.

I have played here several times and have always had a wonderful outing. The course is in nice condition and very scenic despite winding through a housing subdivision.

I thought it might be worth the 75-90 minute drive to check this course out. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The course has potential, but they need to spend a little money on maintenance. Please cut your greens, take care of your tee boxes, and put water/solution in your ball washers. The fact that one of our carts lost power in the 12th fairway is borderline unforgivable and quite frankly I think we should have comped some rounds to come back!

Was concerned when booking the course about the rating it was given. Also pace of play didn’t sound good. But was in the area again and wanting to play a different course. We were paired with a father and son so our pace was great. Never waited. Course in decent condition and greens were good. Had a handicap flag and able to get close enough most of the time. Loved the water holes on the back nine but I couldn’t carry over the water on the par 3. No where safe to land and tee pretty far back.

They were starting everybody prettyuch hole 1.. force him in front of us and they were training people how to play. It took us almost 5 hours to do 18 holes..

There should be rangers. Keep pace going or start some on other holes

I've played here many times and have never been disappointed. It is a good layout in great condition. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. I always look forward to returning for another round.

The course does not have any water out so make sure you bring plenty. Course needs somr TLC.

The course was in decent shape. Much better than the last time I played it 3 years ago. Play was pretty slow due to league play.

The started well with very friendly and helpful staff . Needed a cart got a cart but I think they run high at 42 bucks for a cart. Practice balls are good at 6/50 course was in pretty good shape considering the severe T-storm the night before. Greens could have used a blow off mainly on the back 9. In all though a really nice course and good people. Pace was good until we got behind someone trying to teach their kids how to play. But they finished at 9 and it was very nice after that.

Was a very nice course. enjoyed playing. green course.. one neighbor even selling golf balls for 25 cents a ball.. bring a couple $1.00 bills. lol only draw back was you can't take the golf carts to the parking lot. Had to carry my clubs all the way to office where golf carts were. next time I'll have to drop off the clubs before parking.

Just a really slow day with lots of slow golfers and no one out to speed them up. A threesome skipped 2 holes and cut in front of us and then we had to wait on them for the last few holes.

There were 5 groups waiting to play the 18th hole . Play was very slow because of one group. You need to monitor and move players along

Had fun, but there is no management at the course, just a bunch of kids running everything. One foursome held everyone up to play in 4:45. Course was interesting and fun to play even though green were recently punched. Definitely worth the price.
