River Pointe lays out beside the Brazos River offering plenty of challenges, particularly from its numerous water hazards that come into play on just about every hole. The signature is No. 18, a nice par 4 that tees over water and approaches into an island green.

Getting there : From Houston take 59 south to Richmond, exit Crab River Rd. Grand Pkwy, over 59 on overpass, straight to FM 2759, turn left and go 4.5 miles until you see the course on the left side.
