About
Formerly the site of a cedar swamp, Delta Golf Club was covered in blackberry bushes when it was being developed in 1971. The golf course was completed in a record 64 days and opened officially in 1975. Since then, the course has garnered a faithful following due to its player-friendly layout featuring wide-open fairways and immense, approachable greens. The club is also known for its friendly atmosphere and the affordable green fees. The masters-length layout has an interesting variety of holes with a good mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s. There are trees dotting the golf course, especially along the fairways, and strategically placed bunkers, both of which require accurate shot making. Putting on the fast greens also requires some skill. Delta Golf Club is made even more challenging by the water hazards that come into play throughout.

Beautiful Greens
The conditions of the greens and tee boxes are beautiful.
Pretty good
First time playing the newly reopened course. All things considered it’s in fairly decent shape. I got a daily deal rate so they have some good rates now and again. Greens were decent, too. I didn’t use the restaurant but the bar was ok. I didn’t see a Marshall and the pace jammed up a couple of times but it still went fairly well. I think full rate is overpriced but twilight rates or deals are worth it.
Love this coarse
I have been playing this coarse for 40 years I glad they reopened! Keep up the good work delta coarse
Comeback
Played Delta Friday expecting a course in disarray given the owners financial situation etc. pleasantly surprised. Course in reasonable condition considering, pro shop friendly and upbeat, 3 hour round with a cart…perfect for me. Per title, anticipating a happy ending here when the course is purchased and the new owner is also a “golfer”.
Save your money
This course has gone downhill in a bad way. The ground staff has cut the long grass on the fairways and left the clippings. The cart paths were all covered with clippings from weeks before. There was garbage all over the course as well. My son and I had hit left of the fairway on 14 and the guy in the lawnmower drove right over both of our balls and said nothing.
I will never spend my money on this garbage course ever again. May as well turn it into condos. Shameful ownership.
Great Course BUT....
The course was good, BUT when we had a last minute cancelation in our party I couldn't cancel through this App. We wer left scrambling and calling people to come join us because payment was made to GN. Next time I'll book directly.
Overall, ok course
Nothing can be done. But the mosquitos were absolutely horrible.almost enough to not play.
Maybe the course do do something with the still waters, clean them up. Quite Dungy.
But the course was playable. Greens in decent shape. Fairways could use some work.
Also need a course pilot. At least off the tee box to get things in order.
Again, major problem. Water needs cycling to have some control over mosquitos!!!!!

I had the pleasure of booking a tee time here on Saturday and it was friggen awesome!
Good Balance of par 3, 4 and 5’s
Big open fairways, creative little par 3’s, really nice kept greens. I loved it and will be back without a doubt.
Delta Delta
Where are you Extremely difficult to find if you have not been there. Had GPS but was still tucked away. The course was a bit of a back and forth and back and forth course. It felt like I was playing the same holes again but the holes were different. Very confusing layout. Lot of signage to assist players to the next hole. Thank god! Even that wasn't a gimme. Enjoyed the course and the greens were fine. weather helped make it nice. Will play again but not quickly.
Pace of play was terrible!
You get what you pay for, but the pace of play was terrible! A way to many people put out on the course. Marshall was driving around, but didn't seem to do anything about it.
Very Disappointed
Have played this course several times. Pace of play gets slower each time we play. Took five hours to play 18 yesterday. Had to wait on each hole. 20 minutes late starting as well. Too many tee times crammed in. Hard to social distance at tee boxes. At times there was 3 foursomes waiting to tee off. 2 foursomes in front of us extremely slow. Marshal did not nothing. Bathrooms smell and were not cleaned well.
Like the course but should easily be able to complete in under 4 hrs.
