About
Formerly the site of a cedar swamp, Delta Golf Club was covered in blackberry bushes when it was being developed in 1971. The golf course was completed in a record 64 days and opened officially in 1975. Since then, the course has garnered a faithful following due to its player-friendly layout featuring wide-open fairways and immense, approachable greens. The club is also known for its friendly atmosphere and the affordable green fees. The masters-length layout has an interesting variety of holes with a good mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s. There are trees dotting the golf course, especially along the fairways, and strategically placed bunkers, both of which require accurate shot making. Putting on the fast greens also requires some skill. Delta Golf Club is made even more challenging by the water hazards that come into play throughout.

Good round but hot out
Not the golf course’s fault but the course played quite well for being dry. Delta is a good local course, a tad overpriced but you can get deals if you look. Overall I recommend it!
Delta Golf
Nice course in fairly good condition. Greens held well and fairways gave some good roll. However the grounds keepers need some golf course training. Sprinklers were turned on when I was on the tee box and then 3 of them were in the middle of the 7th fairway working but not paying attention to the golfers waiting to tee off
Current owners needs to do better.
I've been going to Delta Golf course a few times a year for 10+ years and the course was maintained well under previous ownership and always felt like I was welcomed. Unfortunately, they ran into financial troubles and was sold off to new ownership. From what I've been told, the new owners aren't golfers and it shows. The course isn't maintained well and didn't feel like I was welcomed this time. I'm not surprised. When I saw their parking lot only 1/4 full in peak season it only confirmed by suspicions. They better get their act together or else they'll be out of business quicker than the previous ownership.
Good course and value
It’s a shorter course overall but a fun course to play 18 holes. Plays tight and has challenging parts to navigate.
excellent golf experience, course in good condition and recommend playing
Delta is a must play course.
A good golf experience with
excellent greens
Beautiful Greens
The conditions of the greens and tee boxes are beautiful.
Pretty good
First time playing the newly reopened course. All things considered it’s in fairly decent shape. I got a daily deal rate so they have some good rates now and again. Greens were decent, too. I didn’t use the restaurant but the bar was ok. I didn’t see a Marshall and the pace jammed up a couple of times but it still went fairly well. I think full rate is overpriced but twilight rates or deals are worth it.
Love this coarse
I have been playing this coarse for 40 years I glad they reopened! Keep up the good work delta coarse
Comeback
Played Delta Friday expecting a course in disarray given the owners financial situation etc. pleasantly surprised. Course in reasonable condition considering, pro shop friendly and upbeat, 3 hour round with a cart…perfect for me. Per title, anticipating a happy ending here when the course is purchased and the new owner is also a “golfer”.
Save your money
This course has gone downhill in a bad way. The ground staff has cut the long grass on the fairways and left the clippings. The cart paths were all covered with clippings from weeks before. There was garbage all over the course as well. My son and I had hit left of the fairway on 14 and the guy in the lawnmower drove right over both of our balls and said nothing.
I will never spend my money on this garbage course ever again. May as well turn it into condos. Shameful ownership.
