Northview Golf and Country Club - Ridge

About
Although Arnold Palmer designed both of the 18-hole championship courses at Northview Golf & Country Club, both are completely unique from one another. The Ridge Course is more heavily wooded than the Florida-style Canal Course and it also has a more undulating landscape. Both golf courses share a beautiful landscape and stunning mountain views. Golfers can often see one or both of the Bald Eagles that call the courses home. While water comes into play more often on the Canal Course there are still streams that meander through the lake-strewn Ridge Course. The signature hole is the par-5 finishing hole. This lengthy hole, which measures 561 yards, has a double fairway that offers either a short dangerous route with an opportunity to reach the semi-island green in two shots or a much longer but safer three-shot option.

Best public track in Greater Vancouver
This course is a ton of fun to play! Great mix of holes and in really nice shape. Additionally, it is very playable and won't beat you up too badly if you're a bit off. Lots of history here having hosted the PGA Tour for a number of years. Having played virtually all the high-end public courses in the lower mainland, I can safely say this one is the best of the bunch.
PGA Quality
Both courses are great! I really enjoy playing the ridge as it's is always in great shape, pace of play normally good and the overall facilities are suited to those wanted to get better.
They have good food and clubhouse with the proshp having a good selection. Professional atmosphere which I really enjoy.
Great place, good job Arnie!
Great course, facility and staff!
First time playing this course based on a recommendation from a family member. We really enjoyed it - challenging but fair layout, excellent conditions, great views. The pro shop staff was awesome - let my daughter try a new driver since hers was broken enroute from Arizona.
Only negative was the fees for a cart were pricey - $45 per person. I have never seen $90 to rent a cart on any other course - I guess they are encouraging everyone to walk!
I love this course
Whenever I travel to the Vancouver area I stay near this course...that's how much I love it. It has 2 courses and the Ridge is a little bit better in my opinion. It looks a lot easier than it plays. There are some great holes on this course including some great risk/reward holes . The course at this time of year is in amazing condition. They also have a very nice practice facility. I would recommend this to anyone
