The courses sprawl across the St. Mary River Valley, taking advantage of the ruggedly beautiful terrain. The Championship Course has an interesting mix of spacious driving holes and tighter holes that play along the river where accuracy is a priority. There are many towering trees throughout the golf course that will further test your accuracy. The signature hole is the par-3 12th hole, which marks the beginning of a tricky three-hole stretch that plays right along the banks of the river. The challenging 12th requires a tee shot, often into prevailing wind, to a large, undulating green located 50 feet below that is also heavily guarded by bunkers. In addition to the two courses, Bootleg Gap Golf also boasts one of the best practice facilities in the area.
