Opened in the 1970s, Zephyrhills City Golf Course has been a local favorite for more than 30 years. It is one of the area's most popular public golf courses and its convenient location just 30 minutes from Tampa Bay's attractions makes it appealing to visitors as well. The layout is a short 4,598 yards but it offers a player-friendly round that still has a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards in the forms of lakes and meandering streams come into play throughout the course and the bunkering may be sparse but it is strategically placed. Zephyrhills City Golf Course is approachable for beginners but more advanced players will enjoy it for a quick round of practice.
