Opened in the 1970s, Zephyrhills City Golf Course has been a local favorite for more than 30 years. It is one of the area's most popular public golf courses and its convenient location just 30 minutes from Tampa Bay's attractions makes it appealing to visitors as well. The layout is a short 5,054 yards but it offers a player-friendly round that still has a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards in the forms of lakes and meandering streams come into play throughout the course and the bunkering may be sparse but it is strategically placed. Zephyrhills City Golf Course is approachable for beginners but more advanced players will enjoy it for a quick round of practice.

Enjoyable game - got paired with out of towners Rick & George who knew layout and were great to play with. Only $29 for 18 holes so great value with planes and parachutes to watch between shots. Course in reasonable condition - not a long course but not easy. Greens better and faster than they look
Loved it
Played the round I booked on Golf Now and shot my best score ever with a 93. Had so much fun I played another 18 and not as good with a 101 but still enjoyed it
Need toMaintain the course better
Real funny course layout need to trim the fairway so when you hit the ball in the fairway you can find them some of the pens and greens need work
Course repair
The greens needs to be made over because of the birds, get rid of the birds and the greens will do better
Rough Shape
Have played here quite a bit and it has always been in decent shape but the last time playing the fairways and tee boxes were really rough. May need to take a break from this course for a little while.
Iron Practice
Played here on a very hot Thursday morning, not a lot of golfers out on the course. You can tell it's a municipal course and doesn't get alot of love from golfers. However it is a great alternative/location to work on alternative shot selections and iron play. It will never win an award for the best course in Florida but it is a great place to play for a cheap, quick round.
Excellent Course
First time playing this course. Fairways, we're in good shape, and the greens were decent. Greens were a little slower and bumper than I am used to, but that is the fun in the sport! The staff was over the top friendly. I will definitely be going back.
Enjoyable
As a 6 month snowbird I like to play many different courses. I never planned that this course would be the one I played the most. WHAT CHANGED ? #1 the mgt. & staff treated me better than any other place I play; by a big degree. Then I found that most of the other golfers were down to earth people. The place and people are salubrious - even the neophyte types. Should I survive another Summer in Vermont, I will surely return to this local. Craig the general managed has a profundity about him that welcomes everyone. A good golf course is more than just fairways and greens.

A course full of life on its last leg
Honestly I had a great time and a great round! Short course from the tips about 4500yds with no sand traps. The staff is amazing and friendly will chat it up with you for a bit just great real people. The carts were comfortable and fast (gas). THE GREENS…pretty much they need Jesus Christ himself to come down and bless them. No Driving range with small practice putting area (no need). Course design was really fun and interesting 80yd par 3 was cool. Didn’t indulge in the food or beverage but they had a blackboard with alot of great deals and a small kitchen. If you need a place to come out have a laugh play golf for fun and not take the game seriously give it a shot!!! Why not.
