About
Calabogie Golf Resort sits right along the shores of its namesake lake. The resort offers 27 holes: The Championship 18-hole course and the Lakeview nine-hole course. The Championship Course takes advantage of the beautiful terrain, starting on the lake and then weaving inland, offering better views of the Madawaska Highlands in the distance. Small ponds come into play on a few holes and the gently rolling terrain provides subtle but interesting contours. The round is made more challenging thanks to the natural hazards as well as a few strategically placed bunkers, but overall it is a straightforward and player-friendly layout that beginners can approach with confidence. Golfers who are able to hit long and straight will find this course to their liking.
