Valley/Mountain at Pinery Country Club
About
Pinery Country Club consists of three different nine-hole courses, which are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Valley Course and the Mountain Course combined, create a scenic and challenging course. The Mountain Course is considered the most picturesque of the three courses while the Valley Course is the most difficult of the three. The first half of the course, the Valley Course, possesses the most difficult hole of all of the courses at Pinery Country Club. It is the tricky third hole, which is guarded by a dry wash that crosses in front of the tee and then proceeds down the left side and goes back in front of the green where it becomes a waste bunker. There are several ways to make the shot, therefore it tests strategy as well as skill.
