Rock Manor Golf Course
Thoroughly enjoy this course. Play here frequently. Would definitely recommend the course.
Greens and Tee boxes are beat up.
I like the layout the angled tee boxes but the greens had a lot of divots.. lots. For the price I paid I have played courses in PA for 35-45 that kill this course.
Fun time
Course is tricky if it’s your first time playing it but I figured it out. Tee boxes and greens are a little beat up. The course layout is great and the angled tee boxes make it fun. I’d play it again but prices should be a little lower.
Awesome
Great from start to finish great layout greens were fast fairways great condition will def be back
We got stuck behind 5 kids in 3 carts on the back nine and had to wait for them on almost every tee!
More than 5 stars
Had plans for the afternoon so booked an early tee time with the hope that I could play and still make it to my other commitment. It was cold so there was a two hour frost delay, Jack in the Pro Shop is a rockstar! Was apologetic and then offered a free bucket since the range was open. Hit some balls and then hung out. Ended up teeing off at 9:00 am and played by myself so I was finished in two hours. Greens were still a little beat up but it’s March, the traps were all in great shape, tee boxes were good as well. Rock Manor is a tough but fair course, if you haven’t checked it out I recommend that you go play at The Rock!
Don't waste your time or money
This course is well known and has its well documented pros/cons. Excellent layout, challenging from tee to green, slow play and apparently no one EVER repairs a ball mark. This review is of the greens and how they fared through the winter of 2026. They were aerated VERY late in the fall, if I remember correctly, it was November. I'm sure they waited because they schedule outings literally every day from Labor Day on and this must have been an especially busy year. However, it's the end of March. The greens still look like they were punched last week. Yes, I know grass does not grow during the dormant season, but you would think the greenskeeper knows this as well??? Additionally, there has been no effort to assist these greens ion recovering in any way except to lay some fertilizer. They haven't dressed the greens at all to allow the plugs to fill in. so you're literally putting on a hairy minefield for 18 holes. FOR EIGHTY THREE DOLLARS ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON?????? And to make matters worse, this course is only going to swindle more people now that White Clay has closed down the road. I was at Ed Oliver last week as well. Their bent grass greens were perfect, and I mean PERFECT. I know for a fact EO gets as much play as Rock Manor. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere until they get a handle on these greens. Oh yeah, the bunkers stink too. Asphalt has been bleeding up through the base and into the sand for over a year. Good luck hitting out of those gravel pits.
