Above expectations
We play Delcastle a few times a year because it’s one of the closest places for us. Going in, we all generally know what to expect from this course. Everything was just a little better than expected. Tee boxes, greens, pace of play, over and above expectations. That’s why it’s 5 stars this time. Unfortunately noticed a cart drive right on and directly thru the middle of the 18th tee box blue tee markers just as my group was approaching 18. Come on people, do better.
Should put drinking water on the course in the hot days.
Great Course
Had a very fun round. The greens are in excellent shape and rolling true. The course is currently making some improvements on wear and tear areas which will be very nice. The tee boxes are in great shape compared to the last round I played here. The staff is extremely friendly. The price is fair unlike nearby Deerfield, which isn't even as in as good condition. I would highly recommend playing this course.
Good overall
A lot of players for a Monday evening, but course was in really good shape. Greens were fast.
Just as remembered
Place is in great shape considering the lack of rain this year. Fairways and greens were well maintained. Some traps and tee boxes need a lil attention but all workable. I’d play again

Very player friendly layout. Keeps it fun and scores low.
Greens hard and aerated.
Course in great shape . greens were fast and grooved and hard.hard to keep ball on greens with approach shot.
Sr Tee Boxes
Staff have made tremendous improvements to the look and playability of the course. However The Senior Tee Boxes Remain in Bad Condition. 7th Hole Tee Box is Virtually unplayable.
In my opinion the tee box issue is small but seems to be ignored. I love this course and play it often.
NOT TWILIGHT + Rude Staff
My friend and I both drove over an hour to meet here for a Saturday afternoon round. We came here specifically because they offered twilight golf. We were unfortunately kicked off the course at 6:45 (before sunset and still ample light to play). Restaurant was closed by then and the manager was very rude when we spoke to him.
Course was decent, solid for intermediate golfers. Had several singles trying to play through us the whole game though. No course etiquette, no cart tech, no hole layouts or tee box distances either. We will not be returning here.
