Kukuiolono Golf Course

Wildly uneven, unmarked tee boxes. No separation between roughs and fairways. Greens are a shag carpet on pavement experience - run it on only because you cannot hold any high approach, then slam your putt and hope. Cart paths are non-existent. Dry ball washers. No door on the bathroom? But, inexpensive for Hawaii and beautiful setting.

Great little course with great value for the money. Has driving range, restaurant, and carts available but can be walked easily enough. Wide fairways, average greens, and couple of nice views of ocean. Cash only facility. I recommend to anyone good or bad golfers. Restaurant has great menu and food.....go for the food if you don't golf.

This course exemplifies Kauai in so many ways: relaxed, casual, hidden. It's also the most affordable golf experience on the island at just $8 to play (whether you're a local or a tourist). Kauai has a handful of Top 100 picks -- this isn't one of them. Rather, it's a place to take your novice wife or kids and just enjoy the walk. The views are wonderful, as are the Japanese garden accents. A true gem. I hope it stays here forever.

This is a great 9 hole golf course. I love the fact that you can golf with the chickens, while you enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean and the landscape around you.
