Course was nice.

I booked a tee time for 4 players. One of my players got sick the day of and couldn't make it to the course. Our 4some always uses Golf Now for booking rounds. I tried to cancel him and get a refund for only his portion round. I was not allowed to do so on the Golfnow app. Wouldve been nice to at least be able to get a credit to use for a future round but that didnt happen.

Course itself in decent condition. This is a moderately difficult course with 6 par 3’s (3 long 3 short) and three of the par 5’s being in the top four handicap holes (and into a 15mph breeze). Course is tight - never heard so many “fore’s”. Tee boxes were a mess as were some of the cart paths. No driving range is a tough sell for the price.

Paying in advance is cumbersome when booking a foursome or 2 foursomes in our case. Could utilize hold for credit card and pay at the course.

In fairness to the course rainy conditions prohibited the staff from keeping the grass esp near the rough shorter. Lots of standing water on the cart path shoulders. Cart paths are not in good condition. I played w/a relative and we had a foursome in front of us playing the black tees. These guys had no business playing the black tees and did not let us play thru. No presence of a marshal on the course during our round to move things along. The staff at check in was very friendly. I have played this course before and will play it again. Infrastructure could use some monetary investment to bring up the condition. Also, no sand bottle on the cart. We can' help the conditions w/o that.

The course has a fair amount of water hazards and few narrow fairways to deal with. We played a few days after a big storm had blew by. It was still cart path only. It may explain why the grass in the rough was a bit long. Hard to spot your ball in there.

Greens are just like the practice green and the speed is very slow. My putts were always short unless I push it hard.

People on the course are nice and friendly, but don’t seem to know the term “fore”. It’s my son’s first time playing on an 18-hole course. Spoke with the group behind us ahead of time, but everyone was playing at a very relaxed pace. We had balls coming at us from nowhere half a dozen times and nobody was yelling “fore”. I know it was not from the couple behind us as they were usually 1.5 holes behind us.

Course was in great shape. I was surprised that they were affiliated with the Hilton hotel. I plan on bringing family and friends back and staying at the hotel so the kids can enjoy the pool the wives can enjoy shopping and the fellas can enjoy golfing.

The cost of alcohol in the pro shop and on course cart are absurd. $14 for a High Noon and $20 for single drink on the course? That’s worse than downtown Chicago. I get it’s a resort, but you’re in Oakbrook not the Caribbean. Management needs to reevaluate their pricing - it’s laughable.

Course was in great shape, staff was friendly and attentive.

This course is quite fair, you can really score if you're hitting it well and if not you will not. The condition of the greens in recent years has been questionable, if they took a few minutes a day they could fix some of the ball marks and imperfections.

I hadn’t played WC in some years, and I was thankful to learn that it still met my expectations. My 4-some enjoyed our 4:20 round very much. I liked the great variety of the holes, with generous fairways allowing forgiveness on errant shots. The many water hazards provided challenges throughout. It was nice to have the layout configured so that we never were affected by other golfers hitting into us. The staff was friendly, and the amenities were appreciated. I highly recommend this golf course.

All the cart paths need to be redone. And the grounds were in need of care.
