Walnut Street Boys
Nice public course, one water hole, no sand. One of longest courses in state. Scott and Carlos always do a band up job! Thanks
Long course. Fair value depending on the rate you pay. No sand bunkers. Good layout, spartan look. Wide open. Water hazard on 2 fairways. I am good with it.
After work Round
Course is always fun to play, biggest trouble is always between the ears...😜🤣 Looking forward to many more after work rou is this year!
Good place and value
Good, challenging 9 hole course. Good value. Can be brutal with slow pace when busy. 3 hour round.
Starter
February round at Meadowlark. Conditions here are average at best in peak season. In February, it’s just dormant grass and goose turds. Still, the starter was giving every group a hard time about having their push carts on the tee box. I’ve never had anyone tell me to keep a pushcart off a tee box at a private club. Hazeltine - which has hosted the Ryder Cup - lets you roll pushcarts on the greens.
It’s dudes like this who turn into tyrants the moment they have an ounce of power that gives golf courses a bad reputation.
Winter Golf
Course was in great shape for a round in February. Can't beat 65 degrees in Chicago. Meadowlark gave us the opportunity to enjoy a round. The course was in very good shape considering it's the "off season."
Awesome course
Loved golfing here. My wife and I played here for the first time and absolutely loved it. The course is beautiful, especially the fall leaves. Will definitely gold here again.
Great Course For The Value
I love Meadowlark to get out for a quick 9. Relatively easy course with no sand and limited water. Lots of trees and a solid layout. Can’t beat the price especially if you walk and find deals here on GolfNow.
Great Course
A nice laid back course to play to improve your game. Friendly staff and rangers. Would recommend
