We teed off on 1 like a normal golfing human would. We played as a 2 person friendly round came into hold 3 and watched a mom dad daughter and grandchild pull up to hole 4. They proceeded to play a "scramble" right in front of us, as they took turns holding the grandchild in between swings... mind you the ball went 10 feet ... get in cart, position grandchild, drive 10 feet, do it all over again. No awareness. We whistled, waved, asked if we could play through... nothing. Hold 4-9 2 hours of painfully slow play. I spoke with the gal inside the clubhouse. No response. Nothing. Long time member there said welcome to Dickenson county where no one cares. Get your money back!
This course has so much to offer in terms of beauty and layout. Silly how a small town can ruin it.
Perfect Golf Course
No frills 9-holer that is always a reliable play. Well maintained in a country community 30 mins west of Manhattan. Highly recommend.
Hidden Gem
This course blew me away. I wasn’t expecting much since it was a small 9 hole course, but I was wrong. The staff was friendly and so were all the other golfers. The greens and fairways were in great condition as well. I’ll definitely be back to play again

Well taken care of GEM in the plains
The layout isn’t super inspired but for a fairly flat course the conditions of the play field are great. I play a lot of municipal courses so I’m used to choppy greens and fairways but at Indian Hills the greens are fast and gorgeous. Staff is always friendly. This course is a great value and off the beaten path a bit fairly close to junction city KS.
