senic and challenging course

Knowing that we have had a lot of rain this spring, the course was in really good shape. The greens and tees were in great shape with daily maintenance. The course layout was challenging with hills, sand and water with senic views of Lake Shawnee. Also, a couple of fun par three holes with elevation drops of 100' or more. The drive from Overland Park, KS to the southeast Topeka course is about an hour and 6 minutes, but worth it. I'll be back.

Course is in good condition including tee boxes. Course is challenging without being too difficult. Each hole is different.

Shawnee Lake

For January the course was in good shape. I enjoyed the layout & thought it was a very nice course. The pace of play was slow but it was a 60 degree day in January so it was busy with people taking advantage of the nice day and it was wet so it was cart path only.

Overall great course

Course was kept in pretty good shape, pretty wide fairways and even if you missed the fairways you have a good chance to stay in play. Staff was very friendly and nice. I will defiantly be back soon.

Staff isn’t very friendly if you book through the golf now app! Play is always slow no one makes people sped up or let you play through.

Course layout is good, some water on course due to recent rains. Bunker sand is like concrete. Allowing 5-somes causes big delays. Price was great, and course layout is really good. Great value.
