Beware
This course doesn’t have carts and is walking only. It is 10$ at clubhouse. All of their info on GolfNow is misleading. Just spend the extra 17$ and walk Eagle Bend. I used to love this course but it ain’t worth the 10$. They think they got something worth more than it actually is. Same with Orchards. Wish we had decent affordable golf in Lawrence instead of this. I go out to Topeka or Kansas City because it is a far better value.
First time
The course is interesting but tee boxes were in poor condition and most missing markers of any kind.
Course was full of litter, unmowed , and too watered.
In good condition I would recommend but in its current condition, I do not endorse it.
Good course for cheap!
Super cheap pitch and putt course! great to work on short game. Greens were amazing but tee boxes were struggling condition wise.
Short par 3 course
Short par 3 course around an apartment complex. Greens were in great shape throughout the entire course. Lots of good opportunities to practice your short game here.
Short par 3.
Played with some friends of mine, saw the deal on the app and was barely $7. Super short par 3 course but good to work on your short game. Greens were surprisingly in great shape, had been worked on within the past 2 days. No one else was out there so we could take our time or hurry up. Walking only which doesn’t matter as you just walk around the complex. Overall decent course might play again.
Short but Sweet
Nice little Par 3. Hardly anyone playing, nice to practice short game. Ony cons would be it was muddy... but we did play after it rained hard the previous evening. Also, seems like trash from the road blows up on to the course. Overall it was fun and I would recommend for a quick hour of short game practice. Also, greens were well taken care of. No markers in the tee boxes but you don't really need them.
Short 9 Hole Executive Course
This is short 9 hole executive course built around an apartment complex near Rock Chalk Park. The greens were fantastic, and the course a fairly tight, compact course with some good bunkers and even a little water hazard to keep you on your toes.
No Carts...walking only. It took me a hour to play 9 holes, and I waited a little for a greenskeeper, and took a few extra shots.
I was the only person on the course...so it was fantastic for doing a little practice.
I plan on going back...a lot. Never hurts to work those short clubs!
Wrong Info
On Golf Now, the hot deal was offerEd with a cart but we arrived at the course, there were no carts. - It’s a walking course.
Problem was I didn’t Bring my walking cart as I anticipated having a golf cart. The lady in the pro shop was very apologetic for the bad info listed on golf now.
