not sure if new owners someday it could be a nice course , but right now we could not putt on the greens we did not want to ruin our clubs.

we had 8.00am Tee time the pro shop guy was 35minutes late to open luckily there was no one else playing VERY rough shape would not go back. to be fair the pro shop did tell us it was in very poor shape.

We were scheduled for 8:30 we arrived early and the course was supposed to be open at 7am-----at 8:45am it was still closed. My husband said from what he could see the course was in bad condition, not being cared for at all-we will never go back there again, we went to another course in the area and had a wonderful time!!

The tee boxes are 2 inches of grass or patches of dirt and rock. The “fairways” where there even is grass, is thicker and longer than the rough at any other courses. The rough is worse than the us open at oakmont. No comment on the greens since they’re non existent. I played here last year and it was fine. Now it’s worse than ponky

New ownership has let this course become straight garbage. The greens cannot be considered grass and more closely resemble the surface of the moon. On the other hand, the rest of the course, tee boxes and fairways alike, are ankle-high blades of grass. You will lose at least a dozen balls no matter your handicap because you can’t see a dang thing through the jungle. Needed a hammer to chisel tees into the rock-hard ground. So sad and disappointing, really hope they make changes for next season, but at this point it will be an extreme undertaking to get it even remotely playable. Save your money.

HORRIBLE! Absolutely embarrassing that way they keep this course. They couldn’t even take the time to weed the sand traps. No effort and no professionalism!

Worst course I have ever played. It was a perfect day, only to be ruined by a horrible course. Rolled up on a Saturday looking to play some good golf after having to wait the whole week. Walked in, paid $75, and walked out. The clubhouse and pro shop are swarmed by kids, and they all work there; kinda weird. Learned they had no driving range, kinda suprised, so i headed to the putting greens. Just to find a small green covered in weeds with probably 5 feet between the other holes. So, with pretty much no warm-up, I went to the first tee, and the course layout looked good. Smoked the drive and followed it with the second. Got up to the greens to find it covered in weeds; half of it is grey, and most of it is sandy. There are divots everywhere, and the same with the fairway. And this is true for every hole. It doesn't matter where you hit it; the ball is unplayable. i ended up having to leave where i was not rewareded a refund. They never once let me know that, he our course is unplayable and you shouldnt letr us rob you. I wouldn't recommend this course to my worst enemy.

Have played this course yearly, came back today to find the parking lot was empty at 8:00am 4 cars in the parking lot.

That’s great they put a sign up to say the course is under construction. Starter mentioned nothing to us about the course conditions, still took our money with a have a good game. If you like crabgrass this is the place to play no fairways,greens are cracked and filled with weeds. If I give it a 1-10 rating this goes under a 0 don’t waste your time.

Course was neglected and sold. New owners haven’t touched it. Wait till course is rebuilt before booking. Shouldn’t even be able to book online without a disclaimer.

Would stay far FAR AWAY place is a joke even under new owners

Had 8AM tee time and others were waiting to get on course but left at 820AM when no one showed up. Golf Now wouldn’t refund because course said they had someone working the pro shop at 7AM. Very strange when there is no lights on, the doors are locked and no employee or starter to be found.

We had a tee time at 8AM and the pro shop was locked and no one was there. We waited until 8:20AM then decided to leave and go to another course. Completely unprofessional for a course under new ownership. No accountability either. I contacted GolfNow for a refund when explaining the situation, they said when they spoke to the course that someone was there at 7AM and they were open…a complete lie! Steer clear of this course.

This course has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, there are several holes in need of tender loving care. Spoke to one of the new owners and was glad to hear they have plans for future upkeep and refurbishment. It’s in a great setting with lots of beautiful maples and oaks and pines surrounding. The course itself has fun challenges with its layout. For the price it’s worth a try.

Sad to say, but this course is in very, very bad shape. Several holes had no grass on the fairway in multiple spots - it was dirt and rock. Same goes for multiple greens - dirt and rocks in spots, with only a 5 foot diameter “green” around the cup.

There is a sign out front that apologizes for the condition and that “changes“ are underway, but I could not see any work being done at the course at all. Unless they completely redo all night holes, I’d stay away from this course.

Played there on October 16, 2025. First time this year. The pro shop person was very very nice and said it was a tough year for the course. Lost irrigation for a month or so. The tee boxes were in very roughy shape. Many temporary boxes. Some fairways were actually pretty nice. Greens were not so good. Can see what parts of the greens they lost. But they were puttable. Overall, paid $40 bucks total for 2 people, nine holes with a cart. Definitely worth it. I wouldn’t pay anymore than that. Hopefully, they can get the tee boxes up to par, but doesn’t look like they are presently working on them.

Staff was great. Off course amenities are very nice. The course itself,.......absolutely horrific. They should be ashamed to even charge people to play. The carts are the best thing about the actual course. Save your money, and play Wampanoag, it's actually in much better shape . ✌️
