Worth every $
Had the pleasure of playing Ledgemont today, course it in great shape. I’m not sure if my son and I just lucked out, but with a12:10 tee time and great weather, we didn’t wait to hit a shot until we caught the Brown U golf team on 15. (they went off 10)
Beautiful greens and fairways, but the bunkers...
Beautiful greens and fairways. But the bunkers are a disgrace. Full of rocks and VERY hard. If the bu person were playable the course would rate a 5. FYI reviewed by an 8 Handicap that travels frequently.
Truly a pleasure to play
Course always in tip top shape. It being a private course it is well manicured from tee to green. Generous fairways to land in and the greens are always in great shape. A great opportunity to play a course that is very well maintained and challenging to all levels. Look forward to coming back as a treat to play on a championship course
Great experience. Worth the round fee
Impressive course. Friendly courteous staff. Attentive. Responsive. Food was good after the round. Only complaint was a player on the course giving us a hard time about our pace. To be clear, the course was relatively open and our first 9 holes came in at 1:51. Full round just below 4 hours. It’s a long course and my Dad is 79. I thought our pace was at or better than average. So did the pro shop employees. I can’t blame the course for a player that behaves that way.
Awesome experience
Beautiful course with excellent, challenging greens. 3.5 hour round on a Sunday afternoon was a treat. Hopefully see another tee time soon so I can play it again

“Member for a day”
Firstly, I’d like to say the course was in great condition and the layout was a little challenging but fair and fun to play. The pace of play was pretty slow and we had to wait several minutes on both teeshots and approach shots but it was memorial day so it is what it is.
My biggest issue is signing up for what was labeled “Member for a Day”. This couldn’t be further from the truth, it should be advertised as “public tee time” because that’s all it was. We weren’t allowed to use any member amenities including the driving range. I feel like that should be disclosed beforehand.
Overall it was a nice course but wasn’t worth the drive and the lack of amenities left a sour taste.
Very enjoyable early season round at Ledgemont CC
Thoroughly enjoyed our early season round at Ledgemont CC. Great experience from the friendly staff welcoming to the excellent course conditions for MidMarch. Greens were fast and true. The layout was quite challenging and fair. Looking forward to another chance to play this course as members for the day.
