Only my second time playing the course. There was great improvement from a year ago

Lots of big trees in spots you need to address. Greens are tricky at best.

Challenging. Greens and fairways are in great shape. Long fours.

Loved playing here. I got a tip from a local who told me to try it, and I was very impressed with the course itself. Fantastic greens. An old course being revived. Club house, etc are from a different era and I'm sure those updates will happen in the future. Nice to have the GPS in the carts.

The course was in the best shape I’ve seen in years. The rough was short enough that we didn’t spend 10 minutes looking for golf balls on every hole. The greens or smooth and rolled true. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good too. it was an enjoyable round of golf. I would recommend it to anybody..

Even though our family belongs to St Clair Golf Club a few miles away sometimes it is necessary to play somewhere else. Those reasons include Ladies Invitational and the Men’s invitational. as well as the odd golf outings. We found the golf course and the staff quite accommodating. If you get the opportunity to play don’t turn it down. .

At one time years ago we were members but course conditions steadily declined. We had not returned in a number of years. In spite of a few bad reviews we decided to try it once again and with the great deal from GN is was easy. From the time we arrived to time we left we were totally impressed with what the new owners have accomplished. Staff friendly, carts clean and GPS equipped. Course conditions were excellent. Fairways cut well and greens ran true with no bad spots that we saw. Even though there has been little rain, the ground was not rock hard so they are irrigating. Only knock would be some of the bunkers were a bit lean on sand but everything else was spot on. Coming back real soon.

They have made extreme measures to bring this place back to where it was years ago. Always been a beautiful course!! Previous owners did not keep it up - a real shame!

The only thing I was disappointed in is a restroom out on the course. The old one should be replaced-even portal John’s would be better.

The course is in great shape! What a turnaround from a few years ago til now.

It has been several years since we were there last and it was in dire need of a new owner The course is still beautiful and the new owners have worked very hard to restore to its original splendor and glory Pace of play was a little on the slow side but overall enjoyed our time there

Saw wide open tee times available .we had a twosome in front of us and we let two singles go before we hit second shot on first hole.pace of play was great.we made the turn with no one in front of us.by the time we get to 13 we are suddenly

Behind foursomes that were slowsomes.we left after 14

New ownership is making impressive changes and currently working with GHIN for updated rating.

Because it is a very long course, Forward tees are being added. Brand new carts with GPS.

Food menu in the works. More work needed but looking hopeful once again. Will try it again later this year.

This golf course is under new ownership this year. After having an owner for the past five plus years that did not care about golf or the condition of the golf course, this is great to see! There's so much history with this course and it's great to see them putting their passion and resources into restoring this course back to its former glory! It has had a bad rap for the last few years, which was justifiable, but if you haven't been here in a while , please give it another shot, you will be pleasantly surprised! Good job and best wishes for the new team!

Course is in great condition. Greens were good. Carts are excellent. Staff is friendly. Bring a snack, Only have vending machine sandwiches.

This course was once a gem in the area. It fell on hard times with an owner that didn't appreciate golf or the beauty of the course. I was neglected and became unplayable which forced our league to switch courses. The course has new owners and management that respect the game of golf and are vigorously bringing the course back to its glory days. We are 5 weeks into having our league back and we continue to see improvements every week. Irrigation system is back up and running, greens recently plugged and sanded, new staff, trees and brush have been trimmed and cleared, and just last week state of the art carts arrived. Very pleased with how accommodating the staff has been. The course is well on its way to being tops in the area.

Hoping to see continued improvements to the course and hopeful the club house is next.
