The Links Golf Club

Like always, everything was great. As a single, a lot of courses treat you badly, not here. When the starter saw the group I was being sent out with probably wasn't the best fit, he sent me out on the back nine. Made the round calmer, since I didn't feel pressured to keep moving... there was no one behind me, and the group in front was going at a nice steady pace... zero issues!

Love playing Links - staff is great, the fairways are laid out nicely, the greens are is great shape. A few bare spots here and there, but nothing to be worried about. Love playing rounds here weekly

Course was set up nice, like always. The greens were super fast... they must have just cut them, but still a good round.

The corse and staff was great. The player on the other hand make the course almost unbearable to enjoy. I had to fix 6 to 7 pitch marks per green and real slow play. The group in front of me waited on every teebox for the group in front to reach the green then teed off to only hit 189 to 200 yard drives. . No ranger in the course. No cart person either.

Good pace of play, back nine is tight and challenging, but nothing ridiculous.

While I understand singles don't have standing on course, I got stuck behind a couple who not only waited until the group ahead was at least 300 yards away for them to hit their 100 yard chili peppers, but they also had no respect for course management. On several occasions I witnessed them hitting out of bunkers and not raking after, not repairing fairway divots or ball marks on the green. The worst was they completely ignored the cart path rules on all par 3's and even the par 4's that were clearly marked. Ifbyou play bad, do it fast and respect the course and the people behind you.

Overall good layout but for fees of $80, I would have expected better conditions for the tee boxes and fairways A lot of divots

Let me say the staff was super nice. The course though was in bad shape. It was super crowded on a Tuesday, there was a 5 some ahead of us for some reason. There was a cart girl driving around, but no rangers or anyone checking on the players. The layout was fine, but for a course called LINKS… it’s not a links course lol. Tee boxes were all dirt, sand was either non existent or hard as a rock, and the fairways were patchy. The greens seemed like they could be decent but they had been punched at some point and the holes were obv not changed recently.
