East Orange Golf Course

Surprisingly good pace of play-front nine 2 hours 3:10- 5:10. Reggae music must have kept everyone moving . Overall good company/ a fun day

We got out 20 minutes after our tee time because there were no carts ready. When we finally got out, the pace of play was terrible. On hole 8, there were 4 groups on the hole. When we called the clubhouse to get them to fix the backup, they were no help and were not friendly. Do not play here. The staff doesn't want to be there and the pace of play ruins your day.

Every group in front of us was a group of 5. On hole 14, 4 people joined the group ahead of us. Completely cut us off. At one point I saw a group of 8 go out. They need to monitor the course better. If you are paying near 80$ for an after 3 tee time. I expect the pace of play be better. They only care about the money. They don’t care if you enjoy the round or not. East orange needs to lower their prices or get their shiznit together

We pay premium for this course compared to other ones in the area and it is by far the worst one. There were large rocks and even a boulder in the greenside bunkers, and the pace of play was atrociously slow. Probably the worst course in Essex County if not all of New Jersey. I would not recommend this to anyone. And it’s so close to my house, I like giving it a shot every now and again, but it’s just getting worse and worse.

Weekday in June, beautiful weather, so empty that no one was at pro shop to check us in, but a staff member in a cart gave us his key and said ...go ahead on out since I prepaid.

Wonderful day ..some dry and weedy ladies tees, but overall nice course.

Not bad for the price nice staff. You get what you pay for. Good for walkers 9 holes. Slow pace of play because many not great golfers on the course

Haven’t played here in 15 years. The course layout was better and the conditions were better. It was definitely an improvement a little more expensive than I expected.

Course is in great shape early in the season. Please put water in the ball washers. It’s over 2 yr drought.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The course was in good condition except for the tee boxes where the grass was way too long and the bunkers which were rock hard. Fairways and greens were in very good shape.

This is a get what you pay for course. Not something that I would play on the weekend but to practice some irons, some putts, some chipping, and walk 18 this place gets the job done. Can’t beat $35 for a late April weekday tee time.

The course could be a quality golf experience, but the staff were no where to be found and the one contact I had was not very friendly. Additionally, the tee boxes were not cut properly and the bunkers were more dirt than sand. Overall, the course needs much care.

With no starter, the pace of play definitely became a concern. But the course conditions pleasantly surprised me! It’s a well maintained, walkable and reachable course for all skill levels. I’ll be back!

No starter out, pace of play is not maintained at all turned into a terrible round and did not get a chance to even finish a full 18 as the course was extremely backed up and zero effort was put into fixing it
