Excellent warm up course for residents

This is a very decent par-3 course for the Millburn-Short Hills Township residents. For the accomplished golfer, it is a very good warmup course. Children can learn to play there as well! It is a Hal Purdy design, and I can think of several modifications to a very many holes to make it even more demanding. The greens are quick, with good sloping and breaks. The tall trees require the tee shot to be shaped on several holes, or to be played below the tree line and a run-up shot to the green (Lee Trevino “style”). In short, I hope this jewel is preserved and maintained, and held close to residents’ vests!

Great place....

...for kids and beginners. Short par 3 course which was relatively flat and easy to walk. Greens were in good shape. Must be a town resident or guest of.
