About Westin Hapuna Beach Resort (Hawaii Island)

The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii (Big) Island is a sister property of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. The resort features 249 guest rooms and suites and its own spa and fitness center. It also has its own 18-hole golf course, Hapuna Golf Course, opened in 1992 and was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. Amenities of the property include a white-sand beach, family pool and adults-only pool.

We have played this course for many years! Staff is very friendly and helpful! Greens are very good, especially the conversion to a more sea side type grass! will always play while on the Big Island!

Nice staff and excellent course conditions.

I had a nice even par round and played through about 4 groups in about 2.5 hours. I wanted to play a few more holes while waiting for my wife to come back from the other side of the island but they wanted $85-90 for 9 holes so I just did some shopping in the pro shop. Definitely will put this track on my return list.
