Course overall
The course is a nice 9 hole course for tourists. They should have a monthly package for those who stay longer
Course overall
Course was good overall. Greens are slower than I am used too. Also the half way house was closed which was unfortunate but not a show stopper
Avoid. Trust me.
The conditions are terrible. The pace of play is the slowest I’ve seen. The “range” is a net. There are no noteworthy holes, just a lot of poorly maintained fairways and tee boxes leading to meh greens.
They should be ashamed.
Divi should be ashamed to operate a golf club that appears to have zero interest having decent course conditions
Save your money
The only thing you can say after your round is that you played golf in Aruba
Other than that it sucked
The greens are about a half inch high and even at that had weeds growing in them
The staff was not helpful the rental clubs sucked that fairways were half bare
Save your money and play at home
Unhappy Aruba
We had our first vacation to Aruba so our schedule was tight with multiple activities.
We booked through Golf Now for the convenience which was a bad idea.
The staff was extremely rude because we used Golf Now.
We did not bring our golf clubs so we rented.
We had one golfer who had paid for green fees and just wanted to ride along due to a medical situation. The course insisted he rent clubs and a staff member followed us to the practice range and first tee and insisted we rent clubs even though he was just riding along.
There was heavy rain at the start of our tee time. The staff would not offer any flexibility with our tee time so we had to play in the rain which was miserable. The golf bag did not have a rain cover and they refused to provide us with towels.
IT IS OBVIOUS that ARUBA is not a golf destination as the other golf course on the island was under construction and only had 9 holes open.
A terrible experience for avid golfers! I notified Golf Now to let them know of this situation but I feel Golf Now should not allow golf courses to participate if they are not able to be professional for Golf Now customers.
Sad
I’ve played here over 150 times over the past years .
It’’s a shame on how bad someone let this course go. The feel I got from the experience is that they don’t care and might have corporate plans for the land instead of it staying a golf course .
I hope I’m wrong and someone with some say and power can receive the correct budget to bring it back in a timely fashion before everyone gives up on playing vacation golf .
Best Wishes
Not worth the price
Aruba is beautiful and course is in a great location on the island but green fees are overpriced for the condition of the course. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all need work.
Nice resort course, needs help
Since Tierra del Sol was closed this trip, I played here 3 times. The course was in rough conditions. The greens were horrible.
Divi
Course is in bad shape but it’s golf
I usually hook up with some really nice people
And a quick nine with drinks at the bar works for me
So So Course
Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the course layout was nice but the greens, fairways and tee boxes were in rough shape. It was enjoyable getting to play in Aruba but we stopped after 9 holes instead of playing 18.
Terrible
Awful experience. The conditions were a disaster. The greens were a complete mess, the tee boxes were just as bad if not worse, and the fairways were horrible. Bare ground all over the place. The only cool thing about the course were the iguanas and the birds. The staff was exceedingly unfriendly and unhelpful. Would never recommend this to a friend. The worst part was we paid a fortune to play nine holes. No good.
Great time at Divi golf
Nice folks, greens a little weak, but what’s not to like about playing golf in Aruba. But must use TeeOff App for best deals. Staff is very friendly. And love the ice cold towel at the end.
