Lake Hills Golf Club

I witnessed an older drunk man on a golf cart almost hit a kid with the cart and later I discovered he was the owner of the course. On another occasion a man was grabbing at a 15 year old boy. Grabbed him by his hair, not too sure what was going on. But the young boy appeared in distress.

Are drunken pedo’s allowed at the golf course?

The course was ok. There were spots that the grass wasn’t kept up and was very slow paced due to overbooking. Came out with my family and an older man that smelt like alcohol nearly hit my son with his golf cart. I went to make a complaint and was informed it was the owner.

I play this course several times a year, for the last 7 years. I expect some rough shape on the course, accounting for the regular snow damage, when we golf in the spring. Yesterday, was the worst shape I’ve seen it in. Every putting green was in terrible condition. There are literally 3” x 1/4” potholes everywhere, I would reason its goose&duck damage, as well as large patches of grass kill. There were also areas around several greens with random tarp covers I can only assume that area was in worse shape. While walking on to the tee box, back nine, not sure what #, we were tripped by heavy clear/ fishing line that they had surrounded the entire box with. Clear line, not even flags or anything to let you know about the line. Lucky none of us were injured from a fall. On a good note, the pace of play was great, especially for an 80 Sunday afternoon.

Greens were dry and very fast. For being this early in spring, the course was in great shape. Always enjoy Lake Hills GC.

Course was great! No cat girl and they let 6 play together which slowed pace, but very nice course

I played here today and was not impressed with the amount of sand they put down on the greens and tee boxes. The greens were nearly impossible to get any speed correctly on.
This course plays through houses from beginning to end, some areas it opens up a bit. The fairways are average width and the greens are medium to large in size and moderate in slope.
You will always see wildlife roaming the course and the practice facilities are very nice and very accessible.
This course just doesn't do it for me, that's why I play it once every couple of years. It's too bad because I live less than a mile away from it. For the money I'll drive to EagleRock to get a better experience.

For the money the greens are in mediocre shape. I walked it with my grandsons and we were surprised to find out that there's no drinking water available on the course. I've never experienced this before. With my experience with Billings courses this would one of my last choices.

lake hills is in the best shape i have seen in early august. normally the MT sun has dried it out, but this year it's green and the greens are in nice shape. staff are always very friendly, and atmosphere around the clubhouse is very casual.

golfed 3 times at this course. For $18.00 18 hole and cart couldn't go wrong. No one before or after.. Had a great time...

I enjoyed playing this course and will definitely return!

I enjoy this course nice moderate challenge. On hole 14 par three is longer than it looks and qatch out on hole five, it can get you.

I was in Montana for business this summer and had the opportunity to play Lake Hills several times. It was a fun course and allowed me to work on my game. I am a low handicap golfer and found the course quite easy, but the practice facilities were nice, greens were in good shape and the pace of play was always good. Great course for the $$$$

Not too difficult, but some challenging holes, especially the back nine. Greens were overall in great shape.

GREAT PLACE TO PLAY AS GOOD AS MANY PALM SPRINGS COURSES WITHOUT THE HEAT GOOD EQUIPMENT,LOTS OF WATER.GOOD FLOW OF GOLFERS.NEVER HAVE TO ASK TO PLAY THROUGH.
