okay course and condition, good value
First off, I went out on a day that when rain was in the forecast. It also looked like it was going to rain. That being said, I played alone and took my time and still finished 18 (Blue-Gold) in 2:10. I was even hung up by some sprinklers on the front nine. The tee box had recently been aerated on all the holes, and some of the rough was patching in places, but that's kind of expected on a course like this. The greens and fairways were above my expectations expect for one hole, which needed to have fairways cut. Traps were all recently raked, (I even saw them working on other while I was out there).
The blue course seemed a lot shorter because there are lots of streams that run in front of the greens, that force you to keep driver in the bag, I actually prefer this style compared to being able to just drive in close and effectively chip a second shot. The Gold course is newer and has a more "modern" feel, but on holes 3-8. It also played a lot longer than the blue course in my opinion.
Its not a great course, but for $14, I will probably play again. Not for "Golf Snobs", which I include myself in sometimes.
Course was in very good shape
Pleasantly surprised overall. Greens were in great shape.
Very Nice Course!!
We played the course for about the fifth time and it is as fun as the first. Nice course and also has some very tough hazards. Overall I like the course and for 23 dollars for 18 and a cart on Golf Now it was even better!!!
The staff is very appoachable and friendly.
I had my doubts going to a links course for such a great price. But those soon vanished when I walked on the premises; greeted often and genuinely. The course was taken care of well, and you can see the work they are continuing on the course. The fairways and greens were pristine and had great bounce to them. The course was not easy by any means, for an average golfer like me. It was a long course, that featured many challenging bends and hazards. I would highly recommend this course to all my friends and family. Keep up the great work!
Something for everyone at every level of play
Can't say a bad word about Bob-O-Link. The staff was great, the conditions were superb, the layout fun and challenging. Seems like area greens are either fast from being dry or slow from too much irrigation... not the case with Bob-O-Link, whose greens were right on the money. It was a bit of a drive for me but well worth it, and I'd highly recommend this course to anyone.
Great For The Price
Just a standard, good course to play. They have 4 nine hole chooses to choose from when playing. This is a great deal for the the quality of course Bob-O-Link offers.
Gold and Blue 9's
The tee boxes and greens where in great shape. Though fairways are quite narrow, it would be better if they treated the clover a bit more. It made it difficult to track and find balls. Also, the cart paths are in poor shape; they need gravel. Greens putted true and held well with short iron shots.
Variety & Value
36 hole layout offers a lot of variety. Gold and White are more challenging, while Red and Blue are better for mid to high handicappers. The greens are well maintained. Owners have been busy this spring cutting trees to improve pace of play. Rough is longer than in past years, possibly due to wet spring. Sometime hard to find errant shots. All in all, a decent course for the money.
Nice Course!
I have not played this course since 2009. It was very nice. All greens were in good condition and maintained. The grass was cut nice and drainage is good. Lots of trees and stuff so I lost a few balls. Got to hit it straight on this course or bring your machete. Very fun course and 4 nines to choose from. All range in difficulty. I got a great deal and it was worth every penny.
Bobo is a great value!
I recommend the gold course, it is the newest of the four 9-hole courses.
Great experience
It was a steal of a price, and the course was in great condition. I am happy to have bought this tee time through golf now!
Nice course, lots of options
Course was in good condition. Four separate 9 hole courses. Good layout, holes are well marked.
This course has 2 good 9's and 2 easy 9's
Bob-O-Link was in good shape. If you can get a decent deal it's worth the money but if you play the shorter easier 9's I wouldn't pay too much. Overall 6 out of 10 course. Not many bunkers, water comes into play on a few holes.
decent greens, terrible fairways
The course isn't ready to play yet. The price was ok but the tee boxes weren't mowed and the lies in the fairway didn't reward drives.
