Solid / Fun 9-Holer
I am always skeptical when an Ohio course has Hills in the name; however, this course does have them and Hole 4 in particular has a big elevation change and very exciting tee shot.
I need to try and track down the course architect, it has the feel of a Harold Paddock design, but the dates don't 100% add up.
Course conditions are not very good; however, the fun hilly layout, undulating / built-up greens made for a solid round.
A lot of fun for little money!
A laid back casual atmosphere combined with extremely friendly staff will be what you come back for here. Keep in mind that most of the holes are low lying near a river, so it can be wet at times, and the last few fairways and tee boxes lacked some maintenance, but don't forget that you didn't pay very much to play here either.
