L. C. Boles Memorial Golf Course

It is now the end of the 2026 season and here is a report on the College's cash cow. Currently there are over 360 paid members who pay $400/yr. Daily usage between 30 and 50 at $21 for 9 holes. The College put a new person in charge with enough money to replace all the carts. there were 2 replaced. Total carts now 15 of which 13 are somewhere between 15 and 20 years old and in pretty bad shape. Greens have a disease not treated and look like a mine field. Fairways are rough, mostly weeds and very few areas the ball can lay not in a hole. Tee boxes are not cut to USGA specs. are the same length as the fairways. Employees are very pleasant and helpful.

Course is 9 holes on the campus of The College of Wooster. The course has wonderful greens that are built up and full of movement and character. The holes across the street have some variety in terrain.

It you like older quirky courses, I recommend this one.
