Pawnee Municipal Golf Course

Got rained out on 7th hole. Left and came back later to finish. Was told they do not honor GolfNow rain checks.

I titled it this way. Let me start off and say the clubhouse is cluttered with junk. We pulled up and the guy was sitting in his truck, the clubhouse hadn't even been unlocked yet. Once he realized it was our first time there, he showed us a course layout so we could take a picture and know where the tee boxes and greens were.

He then got a cart, made sure it was cleaned out. Off we went. The fairways were slightly overgrown. I do have to say the greens were perfect. Loved the greens. The tee boxes needed cut.

Got finished up and went to turn the cart in and a post it note was on the door. Said to call if needed. Name and number.

Overall it seems that the town of Pawnee had extra land and said let's put a 9 hole golf course there. Left us with the impression that No one cares about it. Although the greens says different.

Cart hadn’t been washed in months. No range balls available and no score cards at the time. Tee boxes were set up with very odd windows. Paid for 18, quit after 9. The only good thing about this course were the greens were very well maintained and rolled great.

The gentleman running the course almost immediately as we walked in told ilia we needed to start so that we can finish quickly so that “normal fare” customers could play. When I told him that was disappointing because I had brought my family and wanted to enjoy the day, unprompted he proceeded to do the math to show me how much more he would have made if we would have paid full price. I suggested he stop using Goff pass and tee off services. You get what you pay for I guess.

Course is always well kept and made it through the winter in god shape.

not to well marked. but people were very

helpful when we asked where the next hole was.

took of two times playing to get it down and

now it's fine. we will look foreward to playing nest year when we come back.

This is an extremely well kept 9 hole course with the best greens of any 9 hole course around.

What a unique experience. This is not your typical 9 hole municipal course. Some great challenging holes that require thought about club selection. If you want a challenge you must try this course.

Nice little course great greens friendly staff

I have played Pawnee twice in the past 2 weeks. The greens are beautiful, so clear and clean I have difficulty finding a mark to putt at. The fairways are a mixture of open, tight, and tree covered. Number 2 fairway is clover. It is not crowded and playing through is easy enough.. It is worth the trip to play a basic no frills 9 hole course.

Not very long or extremely difficult, but a good course to play. Lots of obstacles but wide open fairways also. Greens are not beat up and roll pretty good.

I really enjoyed playing there. Hole number three is one of my favorites hit a golf ball between two trees and on the green ,my favorite hole to play. The staff are very friendly there, that is probably one of my favorite reasons of going there because of the staff
