About
Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.
Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

Great pace
I found my new course. I got there early, and a few gentleman let me play through. I finished 18 in 2:38 hours, and shot an 82. The greens are still a bit waterlogged, but surprisingly aren't slow,

Summer is in the air but no the greens
The greens are still water soaked and will require assistance to recover fully. Fairways and sand traps were in great condition, guys were raking the sand ahead of us as matter of fact.
Always fun and challenging to play this beautiful course but I will be taking a break for a week or more until the green dry up. For a good time and being forewarned, have a good time.

Great except for the greens
Somehow the greens here are exceptionally spongy and discolored, giving the impression of waves on the ocean, both visually and actually how the balls rolled, and the surrounding green edges were curling up from excessive waterlogged underneath, something is not right, I played here many times in the past but nothing like this. By the way I also played other courses around town and they’ve recovered nicely from April and May record rainfall. All said we still enjoyed the course and tough layouts.

Greens Were Bad
I understand it has rained, but there was no mention of the greens conditions at check-in. To pay $40 and have several greens barely playable is a bit outrageous. Greens were beat up, muddy, completely soaked and wrecked by deep foot prints. Overall, quality coarse for price. But too often the greens are in terrible shape.

Waterbed Greens….
Review below regarding the greens condition is accurate. There is water Filled below the greens surface. Feels like walking on a waterbed…. Avoid course during winter time. Summer condition on the other hand is good.

Horrible Conditions
Stay away from this course. They should be charging $10 per round with the conditions that the greens are in. They are completely unplayable. It has been a wet winter/spring, but none of the other municipal courses in the area have their greens in that bad of shape. It's like they've never rolled them before.
Not worth a $46 round that's for sure.

Post rain play
Lots of water on the greens, some were partially closed off, it felt like walking on a water bed! Give it a few day and it will be marvelous!

Undervalued
No fault of the course, it was soft and spongy because of all the rain in April.
I enjoy this course, it usually has open tee times late in the week— there’s fun holes, and some challenging ones. Some holes can be repetitive, but in general I think this course is a good value.

Pretty nice
Course was in good condition but the greens were a bit soggy. Got a few plugged shots on greens and the green on 17 had a standing puddle. Otherwise very nice shape.
