Automatic mowers are the only things that know what they are doing at this course.
The owners son is rude and arrogant. If you have a well warranted criticism, he’ll tell you to go buy your own golf course. The course doesn’t drain water at all. The fairways and rough have bare spots everywhere. The tee boxes are more weeds than grass. The starter has no clue what he is doing. If you’re in a league, they’ll let random golfers out 5 and 10 minutes before your tee time when the other 9 has no one teeing off on it. You can spend roughly the same or less for much nicer courses within 30 minutes of this course. It’s a shame golfers are forced to play here because stonecrest was torn down. I understand if you are forced to play here out of convenience but the quality of course and employees/ownership make it worth searching out other courses.
Best Value and Pretty
I must say, Fox Run lives up to expectations. It's my favorite course to play. The course offers challenges for any player yet is enjoyable with any handicap. There's no sand bunkers, but plenty of hazards on your approaches. The course offers 4 tee options (ladies-red, seniors/youth-gold, amateur-white, pro-blue). The course is always in good condition and is actually very beautiful. Located in Beaver Falls, on River Rd, it's easy to get to and offers easy parking, friendly staff and awesome rates. It's a course for anyone, but is challenging enough for the seasoned golfer. I recommend this course to anyone to play at least once. You'll fall in love with it! Oh yeah, lessons are also available! Not to mention the driving range and picnic pavilions.
