Very Nice
One of the oldest courses in the country...say no more. It is a must play! Conditions were nice, and I have no complaints.
Great Course
Great day on a great course, and a fantastic value.

Old, old layout
Played here just to say we did, one of the oldest golf courses in the US. Greens were very small and did not hold a shot. Staff friendly and a nice looking clubhouse but very old.
This course is not forgiving
Tight fairways really small greens lots of elevation changes most lies end up uphill or downhill not many flat lies You will have too wait at the turn which should not happen. Better to go during the week!
Tight fairways
Tree lined fairways makes straight shots a must, unless your recovery game is good.
Great place
The fairways and greens were incredible . Hats off to the grounds keeper. This is by far the nicest kept golf course in our area.
short not easy
The greens are small but fast and true , not a flat, straight putt . The bunkers need some work .
Worth the drive to take in a little history of the game
Played the course for the first time last year being as it was late in the season it wasn't in the best condition, but still good. Played it the other day and I was amazed by just how good of shape it was in, especially after 3 days of rain! The fairways had roll (i hit a very high trajectory off tee) which was surprising and the rough had couple wet spots here and there, but nothing like I had expected. The greens were superb, any shot that should have held did and ones that shouldn't rolled off. Once on them they rolled smooth and true with very few ball marks anywhere in sight! Then after your round stop in for a drink at the clubhouse and to see the small museum dedicated to the dawn of golf in America.
Step back in time.
A challenging nine hole course with narrow fairways, fast greens and lots of hills. Be sure to bring your bug spray, the little black bugs will be in your face.
The greens are tricky to read. Overall, well maintained, but the bunkers need refurbished and new sand.
Very nice course and the setting is beautiful! Makes you want to play and then sit out on the clubhouse porch and chill for the rest of the day. The course is lush and has quite a few challenges, Most of the greens can't be seen.
