Not a pushover, even though the scorecard may indicate it.
Fairways were great, rough not too long but pretty thick, almost like Bermuda at spots. Greens were smooth but a little slower than I was used to at Four Seasons. All in all, a good track; gotta keep it in play, though.
Excellent Course
Course is in very good condition. The layout is great and a good mixture of difficult to very easy (straight) holes. 2nd time playing here and the only complaint I have is the pace of play. Both times our group had a little over 5 hours of time!! They need some rangers out to monitor the Course. Other than that, this Course is fun to play.
Good shape,
Fairways were good, greens smooth but slow, high rough.
3rd year golfer
Four Seasons is an amazing course to play. I’m still learning and played as a single. The day had a light rain for most of my round. The course is beautifully kept, the greens were tight, smooth and fast. The fairways were cut well which made my shots easy to find even out in the rough. I usually lose a sleeve or 2 of balls but this time the only balls lost were in the water and I retrievable. (My own fault.) I would highly recommend Four Seasons to anyone. Thank you for your hospitality.
Good municipal course, but could use a ranger.
This was my first time playing four seasons in the Lancaster area. For being a township or municipally owned course it was in very good condition. The rough was a little long but the greens and fairways were in good condition. The only critique I have of this course is pace of play and tee time rules. Due to staff not enforcing groups of two to pair up with other groups of two and creates excessive groups on the course at any one given time and this creates backup on many teeboxes. If a more strict policy of making sure you send four players out at a time was followed, it would have greatly improved pace of play or implementing a course ranger to help enforce pace of play. Overall a very good course and I would definitely play again, probably on a weekday though.
Second round of golf for the year
Overall it was a nice day except for the slow play. Where was the ranger?
Great winter golf.
Course was in great shape for December golf. No issues with fairways or greens. Holes are clearly marked. Par 3s are playing from temporary tee boxes to keep the in season tee boxes in better shape. Will play there again soon.
