Greens smooth & quick
I haven’t played Pine Crest in a few years. 75 degrees on a Monday in November! Great Hot Deal for 11 tee time.
Paired up with a very nice gentleman and we played as a twosome, each with our own cart. Pace was 4 hours.
Course was very nice tee to green. Bunkers were nice. Tough pin placements today. And the fastest greens I’ve played maybe all year. Very enjoyable day of golf. I’ll be back.
Fantastic condition. Variety of holes and a very good layout. Great staff. A pleasure to play. We will be back.
Great experience
Played early in the morning with a couple of regulars. Everyone was extremely nice and course was in excellent shape.
Fast greens
Course is in decent shape but some tee boxes are in need of some work. Layout is not bad and is a challenge to some. Greens were fast and no matter how high you hit the ball, you couldn’t get it to stick. I guess with the weather being so dry the greens were hard and unable to hold a shot on the green. Would play it again.
Nice day
Course in good shape as usual and pace of play was good
Greens still recovering from air ration a little while back
almost got it in
Greens were surprisingly good even with aeration holes still evident. Overall course in better than average condition based on other area public courses. I was fighting to finish before predicted heavy rain but didn't make the last two holes. Having played there before I know they are good holes, especially 18.
Houses all around
Built in a housing development lots of unfair out of bounds, A small course big hitters beware. Poor value.
Need a Marshall to keep up pace of play
Two groups in front of us very slow
Had to wait minimun 3-5 minutes at each tee box - awful. No Marshall’s to be seen anywhere to keep up pace of play
Not bad for a public course
My home course was closed today so I tried PineCrest since it is near my house and I was always curious about it. They had some good holes - especially on the back 9. Good driving holes. Not too much trouble. The front had a couple of pretty crappy holes. Tees were a C- grade and greens a B-minus. Fairways were passable but pretty hard packed. It probably plays 5 shots easier than my home course because you aren’t penalized heavily for errant drives unless you go OB. Overall it was fine but not somewhere that I’d really look forward to returning.
I will play this course again!
Finding certain holes would have been really difficulty if I (as a single player) had not been paired with 3 guys who knew the course well. Some water holes were stressful but all around a decent course for a newer golfer.
