Great track ...tremendous fairways and greens. A real golf challenge. 7 sets of tees for all types of golfers. Great food prepared by the best chef n the tri-state area. Working relationship with Mercyhurst University HRM program.
Best superintendent and Head pro in the area. .

Challenging Greens
Played as a twosome on a Sunday afternoon and didn't wait for a shot all day so the pace was great. The course was in terrific condition for August.
We enjoyed the practice area prior to the round so I recommend arriving early. The water coolers came in handy as it was around 90 degrees.
There is a great view of Northeast and Lake Erie from behind the par 5 13th green. The track was a little hillier than I had expected due to it being in Erie.
The greens were in pristine condition and with the nice speed some of the putting and chipping was challenging.
The grille that overlooks the course was a comfortable spot afterwords to relax.
If you have an opportunity to play here do it.
Must be good golfer
This golf course isn't the most challenging from tee box to green, however you must be precise on where you want to land your ball on the green. I have seen many golfers hit a ball to 10 feet and miss the birdie putt to end up with a bogey or double. The greens are lightning fast and you must be below the hole in order to have a change at making a putt. You don't want to short side yourself either as it will be an almost impossible up and down.
Not too many courses in the world will be in better condition.
