My husband and I really enjoyed golfing this beautiful course. It was fun and challenging.
Great 9 hole course
Well maintained course. A few challenging holes as meandering creek lines itself through the course. Beautiful backdrop. You won’t be disappointed. Course manager extremely friendly and helpful.
A beautiful day to play in the mountains
The course was in fantastic Shape, the greens were soft and responsive to spinning back the ball. The tee boxes were so level and smooth, I was match up with 3 random strangers that turned into a new friendship with them . The people in the clubhouse were so nice, I would recommend to everyone that you will have a great day here at this mountain course!!
Tougher than rating
Have played this course previously. Greens are small and have some challenging slopes, specially the first hole. Not at manicured course. Greens are on the slow side. Fairways are very uneven and have lot of washboards. It is still a fun course to play. Much more challenge that the course rating and slope. Played somewhat slower than we would like as the foursome ahead were sharing clubs and obviously there for an outing and not. They had at least 4 groups backed up.
Average to above conditions.
Was in pretty good shape. Greens a bit slow. Some clover and weeds growing about. As usual, dodging elk drops in the fairways.
Staff is great! Course is fun, especially for beginners! I am not a great golfer so was challenging enough for me. Used their driving range to work on my drives. We love going there. Close to Deadwood and Lead to go in the morning and still enjoy a great day in the super awesome Black Hills. Looking forward to visiting Tomahawk next year.
Beautiful 9 hole course
Beautiful 9-hole course nestled in the Black Hills. Very pristine and the course plays fairly quick. Played in the mid morning and the dew was still thick in the fairways and on the greens. A very enjoyable course to play.
Would golf here again, but not often
Beautiful area but fairways were a little rough and the greens were not cut very low. The ball bounced a lot. Clubhouse was small and not manned consistently.
