Rapid City Executive Golf Course

Played this course in under an hour and a half. The course is short with just enough challenges to make it interesting. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I will play there again if I gave the opportunity.

Well maintained. If you aren't straight of plenty of trees to make you wish you were straight. Fun to play.

Fun course good value for your money. Staff is very nice. Great course for an afternoon tee time.

Pace of play was really slow. There were two youth walking paired with two elderly in front of us with cart. They elderly couple just couldn’t keep up with the group ahead of them, so the youth kids just kept moving ahead and we continued to wait on the elderly couple,, which is fine as we were enjoying our round regardless of speed of play. I hope I can still play when I’m in my 80’s. It was a great day.

I paid full price for a tee time at roughly 7pm and after playing the 3rd hole a worker came and pulled all the flags. Why did I pay full price for that? I would gladly pay half price knowing that flags would be pulled while I was paying but that was not the case. Also the worker never told us before or tee time and he didn’t stop and give us an explanation either. Not very happy.

I first played this course 20 years ago as a teenager and used it to teach myself how to play golf. I have since moved away from Rapid City but always come back and play this short course about once a year. It is great for beginners, short game work or if you just don’t have time for a full round. Greens are in good shape and the whole course is covered with trees providing lots of nice shade. The two par 4’s allow to swing the big stick if you are not a huge hitter.

Love this course and will always come back.

Good walk, great scenery, and friendly staff. Would recommend a light bag and bar bones of clubs since it’s walking. Some greens were a little ruff but overall the course was great.
