Great day in the sun!
It was great to get outside for a beautiful day of golf in the sun. So much cold weather with lots of rain and snow. The course was in great condition and I noticed many improvements along the way. Also observed ongoing work in drainage areas and new gravel cart paths in areas that are usually "mushy" after rain. Greens were slow but that is normal for this time of year when they are not mowed everyday. I play here often and in a ladies' league during the summer. Thoroughly enjoyed my round!
The only thing I have is white plains is not on golfnow every time I log on. Then if I check later in the day white plains is on golfnow. Lots of times we just book another course. White plains is our favorite course and would rather play there. Can you check to see why white plains is not always on golfnow? Thanks
Course Marshall
If you want a course where the course marshall is riding your *** the whole time then this course is for you. Me and a couple buddies reserved a tee time for a 2v2 scramble. I have been going to this course for years but haven’t been there in a while. On number 3 they have recently put in some cart path signs on a part that was normally able to drive on the course. After us driving up to our shot the course Marshall came up to us and told us. We apologized and then he preceded to rip into us. Then after that, the Marshall came up to us multiple times throughout the time we were playing telling us to play faster. They scheduled multiple 2 somes behind us on top of having a wedding event that they needed us to be done to start. When I reserved the tee time there was a lot of tee times after. This was very annoying to our group and I will not be coming back. There are a lot of better courses in the Putnam county area that are cheaper and have a lot nicer staff. Would not recommend this course to anyone.

The greens are in excellent condition as well as the fairways. Very fair golf course and enjoyable to play.

The course is very well maintained. Jeff and his crew do an awesome job. My favorite course in the Upper Cumberland region!
