Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle Golf Club

This course is challenging yet somewhat forgiving. I love each time I play here. Combo of doglegs right and left. Great course!

I booked my tee time through GolfNow at a set price. When I arrived, the staff told me it would be $15 more than the GolfNow price. I showed them my booking with the lower price, but they said that wasn’t their problem and still charged me extra.

The price advertised on GolfNow was not honored at the course, which felt misleading and disappointing. Good customer service and transparency matter, but this experience fell short.

Some of the holes had weird layouts with trees overhanging in the way of tee shots. About 5 of the holes were very wet and had mud or standing water. The course definitely needs some improvements to the layout and irrigation system.

I really enjoyed my time here. I was only able to play 9 holes due to my shoulder injury, but the staff gave me a rain check for the 9 holes I purchased but was unable to play. I will definitely go back.

Our only negative about this course was the slow play with the group in front of us. They did not maintain pace with the group in front of them, we ended up teaming up early with the twosome in front of us but we still had to wait every hole.

They played like they were the only ones out there and had no sense of ready golf play. It was hot and ruined any consistency to our play, that’s was for all 4 of us.

Not too much fun.

If you like hit off of spotty places of crab grass, then this is the course for you! Greens were decent, but the tee boxes and fairways lack of grass detracted from the experience for sure!

I've played this course many times. This time was probably my last, at least for a while. They recently punched the greens (no biggie) but why can't they say AERIFICATION ALERT on GolfNow like every other course I've played? Also, it was front 9 only. Again, put some kind of warning up. I was super disappointed when I showed up and was told both of these things.

Pace of play was miserable. They let a group of 12 and 10 tee off. We played 13 holes and left to go to Belle Acres where we didn't have to wait 20 minutes between hits.

Super disappointed. Done with this place for now.

This course needs work from the driving range, tee boxes, fairways, and greens. If I had to guess the course is underfunded and they do not have qualified superintendent.

The rating for this course does not align with the reality of the subpar course conditions, including the driving range, fairways, and putting surfaces. This appears to be an underfunded course that lost its superintendent. We stopped our play after nine holes.

Great golf course with beautiful scenery. Have always been my favorite Cookeville course. Not sure about the stint meter, but as per usual the greens are insanely fast. It’s like putting on ice. Played decent but cannot figure out how to chip and putt because of the speed.
