Great course. Extremely slow play.
We have played here for years. Great shape and great greens. Only negative it’s always packed and it takes 4-5 hours to play a round of 18. Normally we play 18 in 2-3 tops.
Not in the best of shape
Staff and layout was good. I now see why we got on for $25 because the course was in poor shape. Could be a very nice course with some TLC. Will try again.
Not bad, not the best. Would play again
I thought this course was going to be much higher end because it’s the Tennessee Tech course, but it was just pretty much average. It’s not one of those high-end, well manicure courses, but it’s no dumpster either. I would play it again.
Overall satisfied
Everyone was friendly and the facility had all you needs covered.
Tee boxes were in good condition, fairways were hard and giving a lot of roll, the only issue was the greens were extremely hard and fast.
Would visit again.
Golden Eagle Shines
Love this course. Very forgiving with nice greens and powdered sand in the traps. Rough is fair and fairways though just coming out of winter hibernation are cut low. No bald spots on these fairways. Pace of play is excellent and everyone from players to staff are very friendly and helpful.
Always fun
This course is challenging yet somewhat forgiving. I love each time I play here. Combo of doglegs right and left. Great course!
Golf now prices aren’t the prices
I booked my tee time through GolfNow at a set price. When I arrived, the staff told me it would be $15 more than the GolfNow price. I showed them my booking with the lower price, but they said that wasn’t their problem and still charged me extra.
The price advertised on GolfNow was not honored at the course, which felt misleading and disappointing. Good customer service and transparency matter, but this experience fell short.
Expected more
Some of the holes had weird layouts with trees overhanging in the way of tee shots. About 5 of the holes were very wet and had mud or standing water. The course definitely needs some improvements to the layout and irrigation system.
Enjoyable time
I really enjoyed my time here. I was only able to play 9 holes due to my shoulder injury, but the staff gave me a rain check for the 9 holes I purchased but was unable to play. I will definitely go back.
