Foster Golf Links is the course to play golf with friends, shoot your lowest score, or take up this fabulous game. With 18 holes situated along the Duwamish River, players can observe wildlife and enjoy the natural scenery. As players move along the course, they will get the opportunity to shoot across the river on two par 3 holes.
The course offers a fantastic place to learn, practice and improve your game, as well as on-course lessons, group clinics, and custom programs from our PGA Professional. Players can also improve their skills and skill development at the chipping and putting practice greens, purchase any essentials at the Foster Golf Shop, and grab a bite to eat at Billy Baroo’s
Foster Golf Links is just minutes from I-5 and I-405 in Tukwila. Just 10 minutes south of Seattle and a short distance away from SeaTac International Airport. The clubhouse includes the 1,200 square foot Golf Shop, meeting and banquet rooms for up to 220 guests, and outdoor patio and pavilion seating for an additional 220 guests. With delicious menu offerings from Billy Baroo's and spectacular views overlooking the golf course, Foster is the perfect place to hold your tournament, wedding or special event. Brutally slow and far too compact
I realize that having a golf course in a heavily populated metropolitan area is often a tall task but these holes are virtually on top of each other. Not to mention the holes themselves are painfully short. The only par 5 is 420 yds and there were at least five par 4s at or near 300 yds - another hole was a 230 yard par 4. Might as well bring your 3 iron, 7 iron, gap wedge, and putter and save yourself the weight.
It would be great if a Ranger would come around and actually address the pace of play issues that I saw.
I will say that the course is in really nice condition especially for the lack of rain we’ve had. The greens were the star of the course. They were very well groomed and I didn’t see a single one that had signs of getting burned.

Crowded
I liked the course. Layout was good, but holes seemed somewhat narrow because of golfers coming into fairway from both sides. Often had golfers from four different groups on one hole. Pace of play was slow because of a tournament ahead of us.

Waste of money.
Took 2 hours to get to hole 5. Marshall doesn’t do anything. Come to this place if you want a circus and to get frustrated.

Foster is Fun
Great shorter course with tremendous green conditions. Every green is the same speed, all roll well, some have really a lot of undulations, while others are flat. Pace of play was slower than I would like - but the layout with a drivable par four 8th followed by a short par three ninth tends to do that. Back nine pace is always better. No range, but I like the hitting stalls just beyond the first tee so at least you can swing some and get loose. Then it looks EASY on the card to start, but dont be fooled: The 300-320 yard parallel par fours #1-4 are good holes, require a straight tee shot and an accurate approach or you can be staring at crooked numbers on a low rated course. #6 is a monster of a par four with 2 really good shots needed to sniff par. The back is more fun with reachable par fives, 2 par threes over the river and two more drivable par fours - each with their own set of issues - a large willow tree guarding the front of 14 and a 90 degree dog leg giving 15 all you can handle. #17 is another monster PAr 3 before a pretty trickly short 18th. I have always enjoyed my yearly round at Foster - This year for the first time in many, there was an horrific odor down by the river that can only be described as fertilizer gone bad - or hot vomit. It was gross and freaked out my 11 year son playing partner. It is the only thing I can say bad about the place. Only really felt it on 4 tee, 6 green, 12 tee. But man - it stunk.

Potential is there!!!
Even though this course is not a long layout, the challenge is there for all golfers. The potential is definitely there for this course with a little more care. Course was beyond dry as you were always hitting off very little, if any grass at all. Would consider playing this course again if conditions of play increased.
