Foster Golf Links is the course to play golf with friends, shoot your lowest score, or take up this fabulous game. With 18 holes situated along the Duwamish River, players can observe wildlife and enjoy the natural scenery. As players move along the course, they will get the opportunity to shoot across the river on two par 3 holes.
The course offers a fantastic place to learn, practice and improve your game, as well as on-course lessons, group clinics, and custom programs from our PGA Professional. Players can also improve their skills and skill development at the chipping and putting practice greens, purchase any essentials at the Foster Golf Shop, and grab a bite to eat at Billy Baroo’s
Foster Golf Links is just minutes from I-5 and I-405 in Tukwila. Just 10 minutes south of Seattle and a short distance away from SeaTac International Airport. The clubhouse includes the 1,200 square foot Golf Shop, meeting and banquet rooms for up to 220 guests, and outdoor patio and pavilion seating for an additional 220 guests. With delicious menu offerings from Billy Baroo's and spectacular views overlooking the golf course, Foster is the perfect place to hold your tournament, wedding or special event. The inviting space, luscious green course and friendly staff will elevate your visit at Foster Golf Links.

Sunny fall golf
Beautiful sunny weather, course slightly wet in spots but overall in great shape, especially compared to others in the area. Staff did great job cleaning up fallen leaves. Greens in great shape but ultra fast :(. Will be back soon!

Met wonderful people golfing
We were paired with 2 golfers. It was great, new people, new experiences and a great day.
The course was in great shape, speed was good. Never had to wait. Hope the weather stays so we can go back.

Rainy day
It was heavy rain and cold couldn’t continued after 4th hole. Greens have water flood

Early bird golfer was put on ice
The guy in the Pro Shop was working solo and had to pull out the golf carts for the day, which delayed my group from teeing off at our reserved tee tee.
I would recommend the course Either hire more people or allow their employees to arrive earlier so there is someone to check in the players and ensure they tee off on time.

Winter golf is here
Somewhat wet day but course was surprisingly nor as soggy as it can be. Some blotchy areas on fairway with dirt and little grass. Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Pace of play excellent, as few people out early in the showery weather.

Love the place, not the pace
Could use a marshal to help newbies learn th e basics around pace of play and not being in the way... a little old Golf 101 for the newbies. So many 1st timers in the fairway when you are teeing off, or little common courtesy stuff that unless they are advised, they will never learn. Love to see a "friendly" marshal out there to advise these newbies along the way and out of the way of those who have been playing for years and do not look forward to 5-5.5 hours rounds no matter how much we love the place

Pace of play
I normally don’t write reviews but something needs to be said. Tee time 10:50 am, teed off at 11:10. Took 5 hours to play a 4800 yard course. Who’s is managing the course and why hasn’t someone done something about pace of play?

Great to be outside
Got out of the smoke in Sumner. Tee time at 8:58 and course was full. Pace was slow to start with, but got better.
Love the course and all the trees. Not so happy with the thieving squirrels. Stole my breakfast and then my turn energy. Silly squirrels.
Other than that it was a terrific morning..

Fun for beginners and moderately skilled golfers
Played on Friday, and was my first round of golf in years, played 9 holes and had a blast, course was and good shape and the pace of play was pretty fast considering all the other high handicap golfers on the course.
The wide fairways were forgiving, and I even shot my first par on hole 9! All in all, i'd play this course again, perhaps when it's less smokey.
The smoke made it hard to play more than 9 holes, but that was out of the control of the the course managers.

Short Course
Course plays 4800 from the back tees. Flat, easy walking course. We played early (4th group off) and played in 3 hours. Not extremely challenging but ;lots of trees so you need to keep the ball in the fairway. Greens were in excellent shape and fairways were very nice.

Slow pace
Very slow pace for the group ahead of us, 4-5 balls each and trying to act like pros that wouldn’t let us play through. Other than that enjoy the course.

Fun place to play
The reviews are pretty accurate:
- Charming, old timey course - check
- Short track (most par 4's 300yds - or less) - check
- Slow play - check
- Balls flying everywhere - check
But I gotta say, if you understand what the golf experience is there, you'll have a great time. I mean the 19th hole is named The Billy Baroo for the crying out loud! Course was packed all the way past when we finished (teed off at 2pm, finished 7pm) with people having a fun time enjoying a late summer round. Lots of couples, lots of friends. Drink cart ever present. Charming course, decent, playable conditions and the greens were actually very nice.
If you're looking for a regulation, serious golf experience, it might not be for you. But if you want to have a fun time in a nice setting and have a modicum of patience, give it a shot. Knock a few back, tell lots of stories between shots, have a tasty burger after. To be honest, if you can't have fun at Foster, the problem isn't the course, or the slow play, or any other lame excuse, the problem is you.
