About
Sand Springs Country Club was founded on the same passion that sears the soul of those who play this ancient and wonderful game. The meticulously maintained public par 72 course stretches over 6613 yards. Multiple tee boxes are in place to fairly challenge the skills of all golfers. Bent grass greens tees and fairways are the ultimate playing surface and contribute aesthetically with subtle shading between fairways greens and rough.

Great early season round
The weather wasn't perfect, it was cooler than original forecast, but it was a great early season round for NEPA. The course was in good shape for time of year and staff were great as usual.
FIRST TIMER
Really enjoyed the layout - challenging with lots of tree trouble and a few doglegs. It's a thinking mans golf course - can't just bomb away - hit my 3 wood off the tee quite a few times. I like that. Greens were much larger than expected & in good shape for so late in the year. I liked it alot - would play again.
Course should be careful allowing 6 golfers in one group weekends. Pace by of play suffered dramatically. Two groups behind us quit on the back nine.
Water
We know they rely on rain, course very dry. Traps hard as rock. Greens ok, lacking rain to soften them up.
Conditions were challenging.
Green's very nice, Fairways pretty dried out, but expected with no rain in a very long time.
Nice course with interesting layout
We played straight through 18 holes with no one in our way just the way we like it. Course is in great condition.

Course was in great condition, very interesting layout for the price, great pace of play.
