Fantastic 9-Hole Course
Edgewood is a great little 9-hole course that is well maintained. Don’t let the 9-hole part of it confuse you, this is more challenging than many other 9 or 18 holes in the area.
Terrible
This is the first and only time I’ve written a review for a course, only because of how bad my experience was here. I didn’t expect a PGA level course due to the price, but this place was far below my expectations.
I booked a tee time for my girlfriend and I at $16 a person through the app. When I arrived the gentleman told me he didn’t have any proof of my reservation, and there was nothing in his system for my order, despite me showing him the receipt through my phone. He then charged us $32 a person for a grant total of $95 to play 18 holes here. We then had to wait an extra half hour for a new tee time. This did aggravate me, as I’ve never had any problems at any other course with GolfNow.
I shrugged it off and hoped the course would be in good enough shape to warrant the $47 a person I paid to play here. Unfortunately I would be extremely disappointed.
The absolute worst part of this course is the cart paths. They are terrible shape, and so rocky that they made my girlfriend sick to her stomach. I could understand if there’s a section here or there that’s damaged, but the entire doggone cart path is so broken and old that your behind will probably be bruised from riding around on it for more than 9 holes. It feels like it hasn’t been paved since 1946.
The course layout makes absolutely no sense. The holes are not sequential and are all over the place. We spent about 15 minutes looking for hole four and rode all across the course to find it. There’s no proper signage guiding you to where you need to go, and there’s a whole other section of course which isn’t open making it super confusing.
That being said, there are some nice areas of the course. Some of the longer holes I actually enjoyed. The fairways are decent, but some (not all) of the greens are in rough shape, and many of the bunkers are bogged down in water, which is what I expected for the price of $16 a player on GolfNow.
The layout and cart path are just so hilariously bad that my girlfriend and I had to leave at hole 9 despite paying for 18. We’ve played just about every public course in the area and both agreed this is by far the worst experience we’ve had golfing, not even counting the fact that I had to pay twice
I’d recommend going to sand springs right down the street. If you enjoy being thrown around, not knowing where the next hole is, and driving around the course like you’re speeding through speed bumps then this is the place for you.
Great little 9 hole course.
Edgewater is a great little night hole course with challenging fairways and greens.
It's an Adventure
Good luck finding hole 4. Lots of casual water this time (lost a ball to soooo much water on a cart path, but I'm not putting too much blame on the course for that). Cart paths could use some love, very rough. All that being said, it is a fun course.
Needs infrastructure
I thought the greens were very good
and the fairways were average. The biggest nock comes from the poorly maintained golf paths which can literally put out your back. But I've always liked the layout.
Beautiful course
Nice 9 hole course. Beautiful Mountain Views.
Greens are in great condition. Staff was very friendly.
a revamp
the course needs alot of tlc if they dont start putting money into it they should shut it down
OK 9 hole track
Was once an 18 hole course but now only 9 holes. This early in the season we can't expect much in the way of course condition. When it warms up the course is usually in nice shape with smooth consistent greens.
